Works great!
One of the not so glamorous parts about having a long haired cat is cleaning up poop that gets stuck to their fur lol. BUT with this new razor we were able to really quickly shave down some of the fur that is always getting caught and we have two cats that are much cleaner for it! Neither loved the idea but my husband just held one at a time while I went in and buzzed it down. Looks much better and cleaner and weâve had fewer accidents since we trimmed them about a month ago! Decently quiet and easy to figure out. Comes with a bunch of useful attachments too! Great value.

The very best baby-shaver I’ve found yet for my cats!
This is a great shaver for matted cats. It’s very quiet, which is an absolute must for my cats, it charges quickly, and holds the charge better than others have. It shaves very smoothly, and cleanly, too, so it doesn’t take long to get the job done right.

Does the job
It’s pretty weak, so might take some time and effort to trim or shave your pet…but its fairly quiet (so less scary) and holds its charge, well. Affordable too. I’m not sure if any more powerful trimmer wouldn’t, by necessity, be louder… and at least for my cat, that would be a bad trade-off.

Great fir Maine Coon mats
I bought this to trim up my Maine Coon’s mats. I previously sat with scissors to try to remove the mats, but I was concerned with cutting his skin. I gave this a shot.
The tool is cordless and comes with a charge cable (you provide the USB outlet adapter). It is fairly quiet. My cat was not scared of it. It does have a plastic cutting blade, which at first I thought was a concern butt it has worked fine with no issues.
Some of the other reviews mention that it is super slow. So, as of this review I have removed multiple mats of various sizes. One was almost as large as my hand. Others were the size of olives. For the ones that are very close to the skin, you have to use the trimmer with no blade adjusters on. you have to get under the mat and right against the skin. You also have to go with the skin and keep rotating around to other angles. Once you do that, you can remove the mats pretty quickly. You cannot cut through the mat – that is impossible with these cutters. But you need to cut the hair beneath it.
I feel that the trimmers are much safer than scissors and also do a better job at a fraction of the time. Granted my cat looks funny with patches gone, but that doesnt really matter. I havent cut his skin with these at all. I would highly recommend these for anyone else with matted cat hair issues.

AMAZING!!
This is the best fur clipper Iâve ever bought!! Itâs quiet, easy to use, easy to charge and holds a decent timed charge, easy to clean and leaves a very nice shave. My cats fur was matted on her back and she hates clippers but she didnât mind with how quiet this set is. Great value for the price, will definitely buy again!

Good for a matted cat.
Kitty loves to cosy up to the stainless steel water dish in the summertime even though he knows there is no room for him. Kitty is a cat with extremely long hair and an ultra dense undercoat; the two things that do not go with water. Kitty became matted and felted when water was added. Kitty is one unhappy, angry little boy. Anyways, this clipper made it fast and easy for removing the mats. It is also quiet and the long lasting battery recharges quickly. It made Kitty mat-free within minutes. He is now happy and comfortable again.

I have long haired cats that frequently get matted. I like that these clippers are whisper-quiet and did not scare my cats. I was able to completely remove matted fur from backs, stomachs and necks without any problems. Came with some accessories and a storage bag. Good value for the price. Recommend this product for those with this problem.
