My 3 Cats LOVE This Comb!
I had never used this type of comb on my cats before our last vet visit. The vet used a similar type of comb to check for fleas, and it was excellent at combing and removing fine debris from my cat’s fur. I came right home and placed an order on Amazon. I was happy that these combs come in a pack of two because I usually purchase a back-up when it comes to smaller items. The first time I used one of the combs on one of my cats, he absolutely LOVED IT. So, I decided to try it on the other two and got the same positive response. This comb does a great job at removing loose fur, and it does not cause mats or tangles. I have 3 domestic shorthaired cats, so I’m not sure how it would work with long-haired cats, but it does a very good job combing through the fur and picking up any kind of debris (i.e. foxtails, small burrs, dirt, etc.).The prongs are not too sharp, and the cats are very comfortable when they are being groomed. I use two combs at a time, and they really seem to love the whole-body treatment. The tines are short enough to reach down to the skin and run smoothly along the back, sides, haunches, shoulders & neck areas. They even like to be combed on top of their heads! Their fur is shinier and healthier looking afterward, they love the attention, and it helps me monitor any flea activity. It also helps to remove some of the undercoat when they are shedding during the summer.I’ve used a lot of different kinds of brushes on my cats, but these little combs are, by far, the most comfortable for the cats and the most effective in terms of regular grooming. I also like the ergonomic curve that makes the combs easier to handle.A nice product for older cats who may need a little help with grooming. Even my cat who is sensitive to being brushed doesn’t seem to mind this comb. Fun to use, and it just takes a few minutes to do a good job on an average shorthair.

GREATEST PRODUCT…THIS FLEA COMB HAS TO BE USED TO RID FLEAS &TICKS!!!
As far as I’m concerned, these are the very best flea combs!!!! I’m also a believer that the only real effective way to reduce fleas on cats & dogs is to use flea combs, these in particular! These are the ABSOLUTE BEST flea combs around & as i said, I feel that combing your animal is the ONLY way can you really take control of the fleas or ticks!!!! With other brand combs, the pins seem to get out of position or break off because the combs are cheaply made, plus other combs are too bulky or small to be able to handle them gently on your pet.Yes, I do use other flea products like shampoo, dip, bombs, carpet powder, yard sprays, lamps, you name it I tried it BUT they only seem to work perhaps a day or two, at the most. Most of my pets are outdoor animals so I have to constantly try to keep the fleas under control. My tips for combing…I get my pet, the flea comb & a small zip lock plastic bag ready…after swiping the comb 1 or 2 times in a certain spot, I have the plastic bag opened & hold the comb above it & swipe off the fleas/dirt or whatever else there is into the bag…I close the bag & then repeat till I feel sure that I’ve gotten as many varmits as possible, this takes time to do the whole animal BUT it is NECESSARY!!! My dogs/cats start to get antsy after a while BUT i gently talk to them, to try to calm them down & tell them that “mummy” isn’t hurting them BUT I’m just trying to remove all the nasty fleas; so they don’t have to scratch, bite, nibble at their fur or skin. They seem to understand for the most part BUT when I see that they are starting to feel uncomfortable…I praise them & go on to another pet….eventually I go back to them to try to finish their complete coat. You’ll be SURPRISED at the number of fleas you’ll get by gently combing the animal, even after using a lot of other flea removal products…just look at all of them you’ve captured in the bag. JUST remember that the fleas are fast & want to jump out of the bag…take lots of precautions!!!You’ll also be getting some fur along with the fleas, so when bag full or at end of the day, just make sure bag is sealed & throw away.GOOD LUCK!!!!!GOOD LUCK…but i know you won’t be disappointed with this brand flea comb.p.s. if y ou sometimes have one of the comb teeth start to come out…immediately remove the tooth/pin by pulling out with plyers…so that you don’t accidentally hurt your pet.!!! (You can still use the comb with a couple missing teeth)You must do this every day (i am constantly doing this combing when the infestation is great & hopefully as the colder weather comes the fleas go away.)

Catches Fleas
This comb is essential if you have cats like I do. It got the tangles out of their fur and helped me discover and remove some “ahem” hitch hikers. Spot-on flea drops can only do so much. When you add combing to the mix, you do a much more thorough job on those little vampires. It also removes flea dirt and flea eggs so they are less likely to be spread around the house and lead to an infestation. If you have an infestation already, many techniques must be used to end it, but the flea comb is an invaluable tool in this effort. Because it’s non-chemical, you can use it consistently and not worry about harming your pet. Get this comb and use it.

Not bad but don’t like the curved handle. BlessPet Flea removers are much better
Does a good job but the curve in the handle makes it a little hard to use.

I bought 2 of these and I like how it fits my hand – and the cat’s love it. I use it to thin the undercoat on my cats. Works for fleas too.

My Veterinarian Advised Me to Get These
My poor kitty…. she never goes outside, so imagine my surprise when my vet told me that she had some flees and flee eggs on her. Poor kitty! Some flee must have hitched a ride on my shoes or pants or something. She was so miserable. My vet had a flee comb and she seemed to like it immediately. He told me to go to Amazon to order, so I did. She doesn’t mind being combed… have you ever seen a cat that did? It didn’t pull hard on her fur either. But it really seemed to get the flee stuff off of her and very easy and comfortable in my hand.

Great for removing fur prevent furballs
THIS IS THE BEST for removing excess fur and preventing furballs. It shouldnât be mentioned just as a flea comb! My cat pukes fur balls and until I used this comb did not realize how much loose excess fur she had. So donât think itâs just for removing fleas! And made from somebody that makes blenders?!! ITS GREAT .. I got a huge wad of fur from my cat, I wish I could show a pic .. easy to handle , much better than the others
