Great deshedding tool
This deshedding tool worked very well for me. I used it on my dog with a medium coat and was pleased with its performance. I own a defurminator and actually like this better. Easy to use and the price point is much less than other deshedding tools.

Pets line up to be brushed with the ShedMonster
It is great for both dogs and cats. Have used it on labs, corgis, border collies, as well as short-haired cats. The first few uses will likely freak a person out a little bit with the amount of hair that will come off, almost enough to knit a sweater. 🙂 No, seriously, it is a great brush for reducing the amount of pet hair that ends up in the home.

Didn’t Work for Me But…
My dog has interesting fur for being half schnauzer and half basset. I needed at lease one size larger and it would have worked perfectly. I have a friend with the same tool in a size larger and it worked perfect.

It works!!!
I own a Aussie that has alot of hair, which means sheds alot. This brush keeps his coat looking perfect and saves my vaccum. NO more hair falling everywhere. Best part of this brush is the fact that it reaches even through the under coat. Not only do we use one on our dog but we also brush the cat woth it which works just as well as on the dog. We even have a second one to use for our daughters pony that has cushions.

Left 90% of the hair, rather than removing it.
Well, this was a big waste of time. I have 3 animals, all with distinctly different coats. A pug, a german shepherd and a cat. I’ve tried this deshedding tool on all three animals, and all three animals still have 90% of their hair left on them.On the pug and the cat it was completely useless, despite getting it for short/medium hair animals. It ran right through both of them leaving all the hair behind and not removing anything worth the time or effort.On the GSD it was a similar result. There was one patch around her neck where it “caught” and removed some hair, but no where near the effort. It didn’t pick up a single ahir along her back, rear, or hind. Really disappointing product for myself and little family of furbabies.I did also purchase a “King Komb” and it seemed to have great success on the pug and cat, but not the GSD so results are mixed with all products it seems. Good luck on your search of finding a good deshedding tool that works.

Works amazing
We have a Great Pyrenees Border Collie mix and she sheds terribly. This de-shedding tool just grabs everything that would of ended up on our rug or furniture and if you donât do it too hard sheâll sit for the session.
