Jump-start your toddler’s education with vocabulary and early language concepts using this beautiful board book set created by a speech therapist to help build your child’s language skills and encourage them to explore nature.

Created by licensed speech pathologist and artist Tabitha Paige, MS, CCC-SLP, the three board books in the Our Little Adventures box set take parents and toddlers or young children on trips to the farmers market, the forest, and a wildflower meadow. Each book features realistic watercolor imagery and a story carefully crafted by Tabitha, who has years of experience helping young children develop their language skills.

These three timeless and durable board books feature vocabulary and early language concepts for toddlers while also teaching about friendship and kindness. Lessons include:
Spatial Words: Follow along with Little Fox as he plans a surprise picnic for his friend Owl in A Trip to the Farmers Market.Quantity Words: Follow along with Little Hedgehog as he helps his friend Squirrel search for missing acorns in A Trip to the Forest.Colors and Counting: Follow along with Little Rabbit as she gathers wildflowers to cheer up her friend Mouse in A Trip to the Wildflower Meadow.
Additional guidance will also be provided for parents to learn how they can help their young children build their vocabularies with confidence.

Overall, this baby book set captures the magic of language and strengthens the parent-child bond, all while being designed to be one of the most beautiful nursery books in a child’s bedroom!

Timeless Books + Beautiful Storyline and Art + Vocabulary
Bought this for my son and ended up loving them so much I’ve bought them for others as gifts. They’re sturdy board books with a nice canvas cover and a good message. There are key concepts and vocabulary words at the end of the books and instructions on how to best use them. The water color art is so beautiful and I like that key words are underlined. Highly recommend to anyone who has kids or knows someone who has kids. Great baby shower gift too! Will be reading them to my son every night and use them for our other future kids!

    I’d give 10stars if I could
This book series is best $30 I’ve spent in a long time.Such Beautiful artwork, great messages, learning, rhyming.I read this to my 2yo at nauseum. It’s one of the few books I don’t get tired of reading over and over. Also there are so many things to grow with this book series as far as counting, colors, words, etc.The picture dictionary and extra activities in back is also just fabulous.Buy it.

Parents will love these more than kids
I think it’s an amazing baby shower gift. These beautiful books have an incredible tactile experience for the adults and a very soft and mellow visual. The watercolour imagery is beautiful and calm but in book it seems even more faded out than (likely) in realityThe stories aren’t as engaging due to this for toddlers imo. The favourite pages (same as in wishy washy) are the last page with all the individual items listed. If you’re interested in buying a gift set for toddlers+ parents, the absolute best out there, hands down, is the Gerda Muller 4 seasons.I love Tabitha Paige’s story and am happy to support her, but these books make little sense if you’re into Montessori-stuff (despite having realistic images). Animals that look like real animals interract similar to humans, some eat their proper foods others eat foods that animal would not actually eat etc.But we know all this in the preview and going into the purchase. They’re beautiful books to have in the nursery with a baby that doesn’t yet actively engage with them, and can truly provide a nice peaceful material for parents to read out loud (with the occasional picture) to their newborns during the time the books don’t have to be very engaging.I personally was a little disappointed they weren’t a big hit neither with my own toddler and neither the children we gifted them to, however they are always very gratefully recieved by the adults who could use a break from all the loud and flashy children’s items they are bombarded with day and night. The combination of this fact and Tabitha Paige’s personal life story makes these books a great way to support their family while giftin people something beautiful alongside the good deed. You will not make a mistake, just adjust your expectations. If you want a hit for kids under 1,5, go for Babies and Doggies/kitties/… or Busy Busy series. And for toddlers 1,5-3 certainly opt for Gerda Muller, those books truly are stunningly beautiful for both, me and the kiddo who absolutely adores them. Aside from a book with 100 animal sounds those are the second most minutes read books for him.

    Sweetest books
These would make an amazing baby gift. Thoughtful and so delicately pretty! The content of the books is well written and educational with teaching directional words, colors, shapes and more. As a teacher, I highly recommend!

Lovely books, good rhymes and story
My son loves these books, we have been reading these since he was about 1. His first word from the book was “apple” and he would flip to the index just to see and say “apple.” He is 3 now and he still loves looking through the books. Watching him recognize more and more words make me so proud of him! The stories, the animals, the soft colours, the simple rhyming sentences and especially the index of vocabulary are all interesting for him. I don’t always read every word, sometimes I read a few words (my toddler gets excited and flips to the next page too soon) or we just look at the pictures together and point out the different fruits and animals. These are amazing books, one of our favourites and my son isn’t bored of them at all! I highly recommend them to all young children, 2 years old is a good age to start reading these. (FYI my son at 1 was interested in eating the books. He become interested in the content at about 2 after many attempts of course! All good and fun)

    Best reading books ever
My toddler is only 2 and absolutely loves these books, she memorized every book in about 3 weeks; she loves the artistic pictures and story line; All she wanted is to read these books every night: I personally love the intentional rhymes, and descriptive vocabulary that just incites my daughter curiousity for animals, flowers and everything God created ; not to mention it gives her an appetite for healthy choices like salads, fruits ! I highly recommend these books; quality and pictures are just perfect

Una gran adición a la biblioteca. La caja llegó un poco dañada pero eso no es problema.

Parla di animali che aiutano i loro amici a trovare oggetti smarriti e a farli sentire meglio quando sono giù. È difficile trovare libri per bambini come questo, dove non ci sono personaggi che vengo offesi e antagonizzati.

I bought this as part of a New Baby gift after falling in love. The book set was loved by the parents. Like me they love the gorgeous illustrations and it is a gift that will grow with the baby/child.

This book set is not just for the babies, but it is timeless in the artworks as well as the story. Even for the grampies the artwork is just so sweet! Often, we grandparents and little kids make up the story to go with the art. Then we look back later at the text with the art. Lots of stories jump out thru the text and even when we old folks can’t find our glasses to read the text but see the artwork as the text.
