One dog loves it! Pretty easy to rinse clean, a bit hard to separate the layers imho. Sturdy, fun
I rinse it clean without taking it apart, using the wide spray on the kitchen sink, because I find it difficult to take apart and put back together without making a mess. The fastener clip is small and hard to manipulate. However it rinses off pretty easily, you just have to spin each layer. (Use the gentle or wide spray to avoid water going everywhere. It easily holds about one 13oz can of dogfood. It takes about half a can to fill it enough to make it worth the dog’s time imho. My 23lb corgi mix loves it. She can focuses on getting every lick out of every layer, and keeps her busy a while. It has helped her tremendously slow down on her meals and also provides enrichment and entertainment. 13 lb chihuahua mix is less thorough, he grabs what he can easily get, and cries for a refill! 10lb rescue chihuahua mix did not understand it at all and is much more toy motivated than food motivated, but he is a picky eater and did not need slowing down. So, for the purpose intended, slow down my vacuum-corgi mix dog, it’s worked fantastic, and she also enjoys playing with it. Good for a dog who likes a challenge, or eats way too fast. I love that it doesn’t tip over, she hasn’t flipped it over yet with daily use. I’ve used it with both small dry kibble and wet food, works fine with both. It’s easy to smear canned food onto it even if you don’t take the layers apart. Doesn’t need to be perfect, she’s happy, I’m happy
I have been using this product for almost a year now and it has improved my French bulldogs coat and skin. No more rashes or dandruff!!! –

Good puzzle but not sturdy. Dog does enjoy it.
I have a 15 pound small dog with lots of energy. We have gotten many dog puzzles fromOutward hound (own at least 4 of them). The challenge slider: This one is less sturdy than the others. The second time my dog used it and she broke out the pieces and I had to put them all back in together. Not sure how it will hold up in the future. Sheâs done it now about four times and only broke out the pieces once. I will say my dog is not physically aggressive she did scratch at it to make the pieces move but I donât feel that she is a very aggressive and her approach on these puzzles sheâs not a chew her either. I will say that her nails werenât groomed at the time so perhaps that led to her getting grip to be able to like rip them upwards and out. Overall Iâve been very happy with the outward hound puzzle products. I like how quick and easy this one was to load compared to some of the others. You can pull out the tray and fill all the treats at one time. Not sure I would buy again just because I have some questions on sturdiness. As far as engaging her, it definitely does the job.The brick:This one is a favorite and my dog has mastered it. She just did it 20 times. I will set the little door flops have separated several times and Iâve clicked them back in okay. Wondered if it will hold up in the future. But it was worth the money. The casino:This is another favorite. I find that I have to lock every other one still even after like 10 times. Or she gets too frustrated. I do like that option that I can slowly lock more and more of them I find if I like them all she just gives up after a while at this point. I would recommend. The twister:Thatâs why Iâm struggling on how to teach my dog to twist the bones to get them to be recessed to get the drawers pulled out. She pulls the drawers out fine if I leave them in the unlocked position. Not sure how this oneâs gonna end up working out. She loses interest because she canât get the doors to open and Iâm struggling again to teach her how to twist the bones around. Itâs just not clicking. Would not buy again. The treat tumble small:I recommend this one. I do it when she kinda is driving me crazy and Iâll just put her food in it for the day and make her work a little for it.

Good for active dogs
I have four dogs ranging from 15 to 140 pounds, and all of them can easily use this toy. It is much larger than I expected, but it moves easily enough that my smallest dog, who is 15 and blind but still very active, can still use it. Even if my little guy couldn’t use it, it’s difficult to find food toys big enough for my Saint Bernard to use safely, and this one fits the bill, so that’s a big bonus! It holds quite a bit of food and the rubberized bottom is a blessing for my sanity (and my tile/hardwood floors. I say it’s good for *active* dogs because not only does this toy require the dog to use their brain to get the food out, they also have to move their body around to find the food that spins out. I know most dogs will just bop it around and the food will fall out close by, but for dogs like my pit bull who must smash everything as hard as possible, flinging food everywhere in the process, this thing holds up and provides a good all around outlet for mental and physical energy. My only complaint is that the door just sort of sits in there, held in place by a few tabs rotated about a quarter of a turn, making it easy for a pawsy dog like my pit bull to open it accidentally (or an intelligent dog to bite the handle and open it intentionally, which is what my American bulldog did after watching me fill it.)The holes are also pretty large, allowing a good amount of food to come out of each hole with every push. My dogs are raw fed and do not get kibble so I fill most toys like this with chopped up dehydrated meats and organs. I would imagine that if you use a smaller kibble or anything intended for a small breed, this will get emptied pretty quickly.Overall, it seems sturdy, holds a lot of food/treats, is relatively quiet, and is large enough for even giant breed dogs to use, so you can’t really go wrong, especially for the price.

A fun and engaging toy
This treat toy keeps my dog entertained for hours. Itâs durable, easy to clean, and perfect for mental stimulation. My pup loves figuring out how to get the treats, and itâs great for reducing boredom. A must-have for any dog owner!

This puzzle toy is a great way to entertain your dog. After initially being afraid of the noise and movement, my 11 year old Chihuahua now loves it and checks it throughout the day for more food. I spent some time during the first few days to introduce her to the mechanics of the puzzle and slowly increased the difficulty over several weeks. Here are the different levels I used:1. Kibble in the hole with the knob covering2. Kibble in the hole with the fin covering3. Kibble in the hole, covered by the fin, and the knob pushed against it4. Kibble in the knob so she has to slide it to the hole and back5. Kibble in the knob and the fin covering the holeShe has it mastered now (about 3 weeks total) but I believe she still enjoys the activity of hunting for her food. She’s learned to use her nose and paws together (she really only used her nose before) and has gained confidence not only with the toy but with new situations she encounters (getting around obstacles, for instance). The toy itself is well made and easy to clean. The pieces seem sturdy but my dog is not a chewer so I can’t speak to that. I have already bought two more products from the same line and am equally as pleased.

Kept the neurons in my puppy’s brain sparking. Anything that slows his eating down is great in my books.

I rescued my little 15 month old cockapoo about 6 weeks ago. I thought this toy would be a good way to keep him mentally stimulated but I worried about it being in the advanced category. I shouldn’t have – he absolutely loves this toy and after about a week had totally mastered it. At first he was just frantically pawing at it and it took him a long time to retrieve the treats but now he actually knows how to move the squares fairly gently with his paws and he gets to all the treats pretty quickly. I’m wondering what is available out there that would be even more challenging to him. This toy is well made and sturdy enough that it will last a long time.
