Molds Are Tiny; Somewhat Unstable; Filling & Closing Can Get Messy; Lots of Claims
What am I reviewing?I am reviewing a two (2) pack of PandaEar Storeâs Strawberry Shaped Baby Food Freezer Tray with Lid.How were these presented?In a cloudy, semi-retail like, branded, unsealed, zip to seal plastic pouch. It was not that impressive, but at least there was a brand name and logo. However, I do ânotâ care for items that are ânotâ sealed, as I have no idea whether the integrity of the item was compromised from factory to me.Giftable?Hmm, kind of, itâs not a very professional presentation and the idea this was not sealed, concerns me someone may think I tampered with the items, or are re-gifting.Size of trays?Widest points â they are shaped like strawberries â 6½â x 7½â x ¾â .Weight of each tray?About five (5) ounces.Size of the [oblong] slots?Near (30) mm wide and about (15) mm deep, for me, thatâs small, when comparing to the average large ice cube of (50) mm.And because they are so small?Itâs tedious to fill the trays; itâs not like I can spoon in purees of fruits and vegetables easily. Doing so gets sloppy.Ease of use?Not that easy, at least not for me. Is it user error? Nah. This is not like hard plastic stable. Itâs silicone soft, so putting on that lid must be as careful as connecting a rocket ship to the space station, as carefully as possible I even placed the tray in without the lid, to harden the product before placing on the lid, itâs more of a careful than careless operation to do so.ClaimsThere are a lot of claims that really are not corroborated with anything received with the product.Number of ice footballs?(13). (13)? I do not know how others view that number, itâs an odd number, literally and figuratively.Value?Competitively priced.Thoughts?I think these more a novelty, than a real work-horse type of a freezing tray for food. These are more for food pacifiers, however, itâs still so small. I prefer the large âcubeâ trays than these tiny oblong footballs these produce. I donât have the time to make small amounts and place what I make in small trays. I also do not want to give these ice footballs to the older children, because they immediately present a hazard, plus the melt a lot faster than the larger cubes.Why?The oblong trays slots are small and shallow. I have feeding pacifiers that can handle a much larger capacity than a single .Are they soft?Yes.Quality and durability?I think excellent.Are these perfect?No, put the wrong food contents and these keep the odor.Care?Handwash, mild detergent.Rating?For my needs, I think these four (4) stars at best, the oblong slots are so small, and this is hard to get that lid on â and the other thoughts noted above.I hope my thoughts added information.

Perfect Teether Popsicles
We use these with fruit purees and make popsicles for my little one and teether cups, and he loves them. He has gotten to the point where he enjoys eating 2-3 of these in a day and it’s so nice to know it’s not just water or whatever. We can add fruit purees we made or from a pouch he doesn’t finish eating. That’s actually what I do – when he doesn’t finish a puree pouch, I take whatever is left over and put in an empty slot and it makes a popsicle for later.

Nice Quality Silicone
I have bought other silicone molds similar to these but the quality of that silicone was nothing compared to the quality of these silicone molds. These silicone molds are a very nice heavy duty feeling silicone. I love how you are able to make so many little sacks with simply one little mold. This is not flimsy and it has yet to bend and spill the contents I place inside. These can be easy to wash depending on what was inside, but even if it gets slightly stuck in those little edges, I just soak it and it comes right out.Overall very pleased with these molds and my children love that I am making more and more yummy fruit snacks with them. Win-Win.

Silicone mold
I was hoping this silicone mold would have slightly larger compartments. I like to make my own baby food and freeze it. These compartments are very small, I would need several of these cubes to make a small meal for our baby. These molds are probably a better size for making inserts to go in the silicone feeders for breast milk popsicles. Not quite what I needed but the silicone feels sturdy and good quality.

Perfect for freezing treats for food teether
If you make up a bunch of stuff at a time these are extra nice to have as an extra way to freeze up what you are making. The food teether I have only does a few at a time so this was perfect for me. Since they are food grade they will also be nice for making chocolate candies when I don’t need them for the baby anymore. Very happy with them and the cute design is a bonus!

This PandaEar 2 Pack Baby Food Freezer Tray with Lids are perfect for freezing/storing homemade baby food! They are great quality, clean up so easily, and the lids make them stackable. The only complaint I have is I wish the slots were a little bigger because they don’t hold much as they grow and eat more!
