Best cat laser I have owned
I’ve had lots of cheap pet store and office lasers over the years to entertain my cats, but this one beats them all hands-down. For starters, no more having find tiny and expensive coin-cell batteries with terrible shelf life and working time. This thing is rechargeable and seems to run forever on a charge. Even with several minutes of daily use I have run it six weeks and it still hasn’t needed a charge. Secondly it’s bright and stays well focused at long distances. Some cheap lasers are pretty din to start, and then by the time you shine it down a hall the “dot” is nearly dime-sized, and it’s pretty faint. I can shine this to the other end of my house and it’s still sharp and bright. I don’t use the shapes for the laser, just the dot, but it’s a cool feature. I also appreciate that it has the blacklight for checking for stains, and the flashlight feature. Lastly, I like that it’s large enough to hold comfortably, and has a slider to turn it off and on. No more getting a painful divot in my thumb from pressing down a hard little button, or getting finger cramps trying to wave something around smaller than a Chap-Stick for minutes as a time. This thing is awesome.

Purchased six months ago, still works like a charm. The battery recharges when connected to low-voltage USB-C cords, but not when connected to high-voltage cords (like a computer charger), just as an FYI.

Laser seems like it may bright enough to be unsafe when used as a dot.
All features work as advertised. The UV light is kinda neat. The shapes work well and are clearly visible, this was not the case with old toy lasers when I was a kid. Build feels cheap but enough.
