My dog hates wearing booties outdoors so any protection to her paws is better than none. She didnât mind me putting the balm on her paw pads before our walk. The scent is awesome! We took a long walk after it had snowed and unfortunately had to walk over ice and snow and some salt. She didnât limp or have to lift her paws as she usually does when they get too cold. We came in and I dried off her paws, I put a bit more of paw balm on to keep them soft. Easy to use paw balm for a large
During the winter, my dogs paw dry out so I needed a moisture to add before we left or before bedtime and this does work. My dog likes the way it smells because he gets excited when I take it out to put it on him. I take his paw, and I pressed it into the palm because itâs super easy way to apply this to his. It makes his paw very soft and very clean and I love how it making his paws look.

Smells Fantastic!
I was so excited to get these for my dog because she has been licking a LOT since later in the summer when the ragweed started getting high in our area. And then fall hit & the ragweed is reportedly the highest it’s been in a lot of years…and she licks everything she can reach. Over & over & over for hours. How has her tongue not fallen off yet? I prefer to treat things as naturally as I can, so I started giving her some little allergy chews, but I also wanted something that would be protective for her paws. Enter these cans. They both smell fantastic! Seriously, they each smell great & she doesn’t mind them. (I always let her smell things before putting anything on her–if she runs away, we generally skip that item.) It’s too soon yet to tell the long-term effects on her feet, but she had a spot on her neck where her collar would occasionally pinch (we had no idea she’d gained weight all over, but also in her neck until just a few days ago) & we used this balm on it. It seems to be healing & not bothering her as much. And she sits & lets us rub some of this balm into her little owie without us having to chase her around the house. I honestly might commandeer one of these to use on my hands & feet in the winter–I just can’t decide which scent will be mine. The only negative–and it’s slight–is that the inner “cover” under the lid had lifted off in transit, so one of them had paw balm all over the outside of the can & was messy when it arrived. I expected to see a decent portion missing when I opened it, but it wasn’t very much. So, I just rubbed it into my hands & went on with my day. Felt great & wasn’t overly greasy. Seemed to soak in the right amount. Overall, yes, I’d definitely recommend this. Get this 2-pack so you have one for your dog & one for you! Ha!

Works – not greasy on pet paws
Works great. Donât be fooled – it felt greasy on my human hands, but applied to the paws of our cat and dog it was not greasy and did not leave marks on our hardwood floors. I am pleased to have this paw balm to soothe the paws of our pets for drying conditions of heat for both pets and, for the dog, the effects of frozen ground, ice and snow during our harsh New England weather.

I haven’t seen any benefits as my cat tends to pick it off or get into more trouble ð®âð¨It smells really nice! It came with the seal broken, but I don’t think it matters to much for my kitty’s paws.

Great for older doggo’s
We have 2 older Jack Russell’s, one is 17 and the other is 12. Their paws, while not exposed to salt, cement or asphalt, still tend to be dry.We live in the woods, with a dirt and gravel road that we go for walks on. They also have a pet door, so on nice days they spend a lot of time outside.This time of year, our house tends to be on the dry side, due to heating with a wood stove.This contributes to the dryness of their little paws.When we first tried the papaya balm, we were surprised that neither one tried to lick it off. This is great. When they get their baths they both rub on towels we put on the floor, then they get a blow dry.We use the balm daily, but after the blow dry, they always get the balm treatment and I think they love it.We each do one dog, and it really relaxes them to get a paw massage.Their pads are getting softer after each time we use it.Both the balms smell amazing, I like that they are made of natural ingredients, so no worries if they do lick it.I also really like that they are packaged in metal tins. And they hold quite a bit.Great gift too.Highly recommend.

Good tasting balm 🙂
I’d like to say this stuff works really well and heals my dogs pads, but the truth is that it tastes so good to her she has it licked off in 5 minutes.But it does help if you can keep it on long enough.I’ve found if I start with her feet and then put some on her nose that she’ll lick that off first giving the feet a chance to absorb in and do it’s thing.Two thumbs up!

Smells great and nice on the paws.
Love the feel of the balm, smells great. can is large enough I can out my dog’s paw (an Aussie) on the top of the balm and just twist the can and apply the balm without a lot of fuss. Also, any that you have on your hand can be rubbed in to your hands and it work great to moisturize.
