Not silky on the part that touches the dog’s fur
This collar is extremely well made and beautiful but I bought it because I wanted a silk collar to keep from chafing/rubbing the neck. The outside of it is smooth and soft but the inside isn’t the same material. That said, it is definitely softer than most collars and doesn’t seem to itch her so far.

I purchased the purple/violet and the green colored collar. Very nice! The name plate area is simple and the durability, make of the collar holds up very well.Inhave many collars for our LoLa and change her collar every week. I’ve washed the green one and the only recommendation would be to place the collar in a fabric bag because I washed the collar with my dogs bedding and the name plate got scratched a bit, my fault. Just a recommendation if you washbin the washer machine to be careful. To dry the collar I just lay flat, I’d recommend this also.Love the collars, very satisfied and looks just like the image.
