Durable attractive and tough
We live in a rural area and the fabric collars kept getting frazzled and broke easily as my dog is known to go exploring through thickets and fields. She is a very active dog that loves to play with kids and other dogs and she certainly does not play gently even though she isnt a giant dog. I ordered this a year ago and just now needing to replace it. She is tough on collars and the details have started to look frazzled but the overall collar is still very sturdy. It has lived through many soakings after shes rolled in cow patties without becoming weakened. The name plate is still readable and was engraved beautifully. When she gets her baths, and its time to put it back on, she is glad to put it back on. Which that says a lot because shes not usually up for wearing anything. It seems to be comfortable on her. The appearance is charming and the red was nice and bright against the black. It does not make any jingly noises when shes playing either. When I ordered it, it came just as expected. Nova is 26 pounds and i ordered her a medium and it fits in the 3rd whole. See picture for how well it fots her. 10/10 do recommend.

I purchased the purple collar. I couldn’t have asked for more at this price. It’s beautiful! The design and color is true to the listing, although I wish the base purple was the same as the leather design and not such a fuchsia type of purple. For a new collar, it isn’t too badly stiff.The engraving (probably laser?) was correct, straight, and evenly spaced. I don’t like applying my personal information so I put my business name hoping someone would Google it to contact me if they ever found her. I’m glad they spelled it correctly since it is not an actual dictionary word and is long.The metal engraving plate is a bit thin, but I hope it keeps the collar lightweight, plus I had to bend it a little to suit the curve of her neck.Her neck size fell right between sizes at 15″ so I opted for the larger size (Large) and it worked out perfectly, especially since I didn’t want it too snug, on the second smallest hole. She’s an indoor medium 25#, short-legged, short neck (haha) mixed breed dog.It’s a great collar for the price. If anything ever happens to this collar (I don’t expect it to last her entire lifetime) I will buy it again. 👍

Run a little small
I got two of these collars in size xl for our two Great Danes. I got them because our dogs can get the collars with the clip off each other and they are no match for our puppy’s teeth. I got these in hopes that they will not be able to get them off and destroy them in the process. They do however run a bit small. The xl says it’s for neck sizes 18.5-22 inches and my dogs necks are 20 and 19 inches. I have to have the collars on the second and third notch for them to fit properly and not be too tight. The colors are beautiful and the engraving is nice and easy to read. I just hope they are tough enough to last a little while. I’m kind of done buying a bunch of different collars.
