MY CAT LOVES THIS!
If you have a shaggy dog or cat with matted hair, this is an absolute necessity! With Summer here, my cat’s hair was trying to thin out, but the loose hair was getting all clumped up. It was definitely not an attractive look and I’m sure he wasn’t comfortable with that mess either. This brush is the perfect solution, and cleans itself. You just press the button and hold it down while you brush “with the grain,” and release the button at the end of the stroke. The stainless steel bristles retract into the brush, leaving a wad of loose hair for the waste basket. I removed enough old hair to make another cat! My cat absolutely loves it when I brush him, and purrs the whole time. He looks much better now, and I’m sure he feels better too.

Perrrrrfect
We have a long haired house cat and out of no where he started to get some matts. This brush does not have the plastic tips at the end of bristles which is what we wanted and it works great! Got matts out and cat actually loves being brushed with it. Self cleaner on brush works great so far too. We have used at least 10 times and still works as intended. I would recommend.

I am trying several new brushes for our Collies. I was skeptical about the self-clean feature, but wanted to give it a try since it is a pain (literally) to clean the hair from the brushes. It actually works- very well! Time will tell how long the plastic parts on the brush to retract the tines hold up.So far I’m not thrilled with the way the brush part pulls until the hair is brushed through a bit. The other new brush I have received has the same issue. So, I will use this and hope that it softens with use. The dogs don’t mind too much as long as I use it very gently at first.

Love this brush! I have two German shepherds and they both shed so I have bought my fair share of brushes in the past but this one is amazing. You can brush and brush and release it with one hand while holding your dog which is awesome!

Easy to use
The first one I bought lasted for years and worked beautifully. I needed another one right away so I went to a local store and bought something different. Returned it the next day and found this one again online. So very happy with it! Fully retracts so the hair slides right off

Works great on my golden retriever
I have a 9 month old golden retriever and we’ve quickly learned that he has a never ending supply of hair. I wanted to get the right kind of brush for his coat, especially to get that undercoat that builds up, and this one works great. The retracting bristles helps get all the hair out. My first brush didn’t do that and it’s hard to work with. The bristles don’t bother his skin either (my bf thought they would) but our dog loves getting brushed with this!

Feels cheap but works.
My biggest issue with this is the clean up. This thing generates a TON of static so the hair is literally stuck on when attempting to wipe it off. Then when the hair is off, it is statically charged and sticks to everything else so can get messy. My old brush (that I lost and no clue what brand it was) did not have this issue.The grip is comfortable and the mechanisms work fine (eg. bristle retraction). The bristles feel cheap as well, just random metal prongs. Feel like I’m going to hurt my kitty while in use so only been using it lightly on the fur (cat isn’t complaining at least).Most likely will be searching for a new one, don’t go for cheap on these cause well, they are cheap. Might work fine on thicker/longer fur but for short haired cats, not so much.

Best dog brush of this type I’ve ever found great Quality
I have had multiple dog brushes with these types of bristles before. The best part about this brush is that the bristles actually go back inside the brush when you’re not using it. It makes it easy to clean so you’re not bending in the wires while you’re trying to get the hair out and it also makes it so the wires don’t get bent when they’re just in your basket or your drawer or where ever you keep your dogs brushes. Because the bristles go back inside it protects them so that when you need to use it it does not scratch your dog. Excellent product highly recommend it to anyone with the pets especially who needs regular brushing!

I got this brush for my miniature poodle who I keep with a short puppy cut. When I first tried this brush I was nervous it was pulling the fur too hard, but once you brush through 1 – 2 times it really works at removing mats and tangles and the brush glides through the fur! Very effective at keeping your pup’s coat healthy. This brush head is not too big for my mini poodle and I can do her full body in about 5 mins. The self cleaning function is very handy for storage as it doesn’t get caught on anything. 10/10 recommend.

You brush the hair and brush the hair (I have an Australian Sheppard) and then find a trash can push the button and out comes a little hair pancake. It is really great!
