Looks small but fits my 15 lb cat, nice materials, sturdy soft sided carrier.
I had ordered this for the smaller of my two cats. My first thought upon opening it was I really liked the material, but it looked really small. It was a bit tricky inserting the black poles that provide structure for the frame, but once in place they held the shape well. The cushion for the carrier floor is nice and plushy, and the zippers are nice quality.Both of my cats obliged in trying out the carrier. While I really thought neither would fit, it turns out they fit just fine, and seemed perfectly happy and cozy. I don’t know that I would want to take cats of their size on a long trip in this carrier, but it was perfect for a short trip to the vet to get annual shots. This folds up nicely and stores flat on one of my closest shelves. Totally would recommend.

Nice carrier
This is a nice carrier for an average-sized cat. (If your cat is very large, it may be too small for your needs.) I was confused at first by the pocket on the side as it doesn’t have a bottom. Then I realized it’s not actually a pocket – it’s more of a strap, and I think it’s meant to be part of the seat belt mechanism that you can use in the car. We have yet to test this out, but I think it will work well.You can also use the strap to slide over the handle on your luggage so that the carrier can rest securely on top of your suitcase. This will come in handy as we will be traveling for the holidays soon and taking our cat with us! It’ll be easier on her and us both if we can just secure her to our carry-on and roll her through the airport, rather than carrying the carrier on our shoulders, bouncing her around and stressing her out!Overall, this carrier is nicely made and I like that the “bed” part at the bottom is both soft, but also firm enough that the carrier maintains its structure.
