It’s a tug toys, not a chew toy.
We have 2, 2 yr old huskies. We are 2 weeks in and it’s holding up just fine. Daily use. My dogs have shredded many tug ropes in hours. They have strong bites and love to play. The important key is train your dog to not chew the rope. They should have other chew toys. If you aren’t here yet play tug, or let your dogs play tug for a limited time and then put it away. No dog should have solitary time with the rope, they will shred it. With some reinforced expectations your dog won’t shred the rope. Mine play in about 10 min intervals and then bring me the rope or drop it to signal it can be put away.

The near indestructible rope!
THIS… is Playologys Dri Tech Rope Dog Chew Toy and one of the only dog toy brands that make my super chewer look twice. While my dog admittedly has destroyed a few of these ropes… they last MONTHS which is a long time when your dog takes out other ropes in an hour. This toy is also infused with a peanut butter scent which is always a bonus for the pupsPlayology dog toys always mean business on the durability front, and I have no second thoughts when I spend money on their products such as this rope because I know it will last and is also safe for my dogs (Which is worth more than anything). I truly buy into their scent marketing as my dogs always have this rope or another one of their Playology toys around them sniffing or chewing on them.I love this rope and all of Playology dog toys, and another treat to keep in your arsenal for your own furry friend, and I am sure your dogs will love them just as mine (and me) have as well. While these certainly cost more, it is beyond worth it and I implore you to take the leap!

Long lasting!
My husky really likes to play tug-of-war. The last few ropes we bought we had to take them away from him because he had them shredded within an hour. This one so far as lasted a month there is some minimal framing on some of the knots, but overall still an excellent shape and he is able to play with it. I am so thrilled with this.

thick rope but still deteriorates immediately
i’m on my second rope toy – the first one lasted a few months which was played with a couple times a week. it got so shredded that I’d find lots of thread in my dog’s poop the day after playing. my new one also began to loosen and shred after the second time using it. i don’t know if a shred-free rope toy exists, but this rope is really expensive for something that doesn’t last very long. i’m still rating this highly since it’s more durable than others, but for the price – not sure if it’s worth it.

Overpriced and Falls Apart
Donât waste your money. I bought this for our aggressive chewing puppy, and all it does is make a mess! She quickly tore the ends apart and there is yellow string everywhere. She bit the knots apart and now itâs one long rope which is getting quickly demolished. Itâs going in the trash before I ruin my vacuum.

Great construction on this. My dog is a super chewer and destroys most toys. This one is going to last longer than a traditional rope toy. The peanut butter smell is not very noticeable to a human which is great.

Partner hates the smell but dog loves it and that’s kind of the point , smell also doesn’t linger too long on hands , careful with them eating the strings if you worried about that stuff ( big dog so little bits of string just kind of pass through him )
