Easy to Apply and Works Fast
We have three cats and they all hate collars and this worked like a charm for them so far. The drops themselves only take a few seconds to apply to your cat, and within a couple of days we noticed a large reduction in the amount of fleas in their fur. Some of the fleas were even jumping off the cats within hours of the application just to get away from it. Our cats haven’t shown any reactions to it and they have seemed to be scratching themselves less than before. They seem to sleep better and appear more relaxed. However, the only downside is the drops need to be reapplied each month, but it has so far been the most cost effective solution to the fleas. I highly recommend it.

Very good at taking care of fleas on cats.
I was so pleased with how well this took care of the fleas on both of my cats. It didnât upset their stomach and worked very quickly. I did have to give them both two months worth of treatments, but it really helped them. I combed them good with a flea comb and sprayed my house for fleas to get totally rid of them. If they ever get fleas again I will definitely get this flea treatment again. I unfortunately originally bought the Amazon brand called Amazon Basics flea and tick topical for cats. It was a disaster and a total waste of money. It not only didnât take care of the flea problem, but it also made both of my cats extremely ill. I honestly was afraid they werenât going to make it through the night. This new treatment didnât affect them negatively at all. They didnât act like Iâd given them anything. I canât express how bad the other treatment was compared to this one. It was definitely worth the extra money.

Doesnât last 30 days
Iâve tried many Advantage alternatives, this seems to be pretty close one. Also since Bayer sold Advantage to Elanco, the quality went down on that too. I see no reason pay double and still get 3 weeks of protection. This product works on my cats but after 2-2,5 weeks they start scratching again. I donât want to apply another one right away so I wait and around 24th day I apply another one.I can live with that, i guess it doesnât have enough for 15lbs cat but if your cat is 9-10lbs than your results should be beter. The only thing i dislike about this product is the tube. If you competing agains Advantage use the same tube design, this hard tube that requires scissors to cut is just awful. If the tube was like what Advantage has and they had higher concentration for cats over 15lbs this would get 5 stars from me.Iâm sticking to it as it still works but hope mfr reads these comments and take the shortcomings into consideration.

Finally! So pleased.
Finally found something that works. I have been talking about this for over a year. Not this product, but flea traetments. I have gone through Frontline Plus (best, but after two weeks, fleas start to appear), PetArmor Plus (same ingr. as Frontline Plus, but for some reason it was dropping effectiveness after a week), BioSpot (no, just no, didn’t do a thing), Adam’s Flea and Tick Spray (really great if you do it every two week, but the smell in the house can get potent and the cat being a little wild still was yeah, haha), and Adam’s Flea and Tick drops (nothing, terrible). It’s our backyard that is the problem. The rats have been using our neighborhood as a place to go through. They bring fleas all over the place. I don’t like to use harsh sprays because of the birds we always have around, and the dogs use the backyard a lot. Well, I finally can say that it’s been almost two weeks and this product is still going strong. I’m getting the cat version for the cat now because she was on Revolution from the vet, but I’d rather something I can purchase at a lower price and on my own, without going to the vet. I have two dogs who get an allergic reaction really bad from just one flea bite. I have noticed that with my older dog, she is sleeping better and finally has stopped scratching. I was having to do quite a lot to ease her pain. For her, even if the flea bit her days ago, she’d still be scratching. I thought it was environmental and now I see that the allergy itchies just keep up for days after.A note about this product though. I live in Washington state. You may have a hit or miss with effectiveness depending on where you live, and how many pets you have. This one worked for me. I’m seriously overjoyed with this product. And the best part is the affordability. I have been watching the Advantage II but it was just too expensive for me with all the animals I have to dose. But this one is GREAT. None of the dogs got sick and what I reallllllly liked was that it absorbed within hours. The BioSpot stayed slimy the entire month. But Advecta had no reactions (some of our dogs are extremely sensitive) and it absorbed fast. There was no scent to it.If you have a question, feel free to ask.

Not effective
This may contain the same ingredients as Advantage II but it definitely is NOT the same. My cats currently have fleas. (I have 7 cats.) They have had fleas before so I know the treatment schedule I need to follow to break the life cycle and end the infestation. This product is a joke. It’s effectiveness doesn’t even last 7 days. I thought perhaps this infestation was worse though I couldn’t see how that was possible because last time I had fleas all over my house and this time I do not. Still, I gave it a chance. You can imagine how much I have to order to treat 7 cats multiple times. I’m done. I’ve gone back to Advantage II. I feel like I’m just throwing money down a deep hole to get no results. The packaging is also awful. Several of my cats fight me when I need to put the meds on them so I have to hold them down. The liquid doesn’t come out of the tube quickly AT ALL and it also makes a very loud sound when it’s getting close to the end which only scares the cat more and I sometimes lose my hold and have to wait until I can get a hold of them again to finish the dose.It does not work. Anyone who says it does obviously doesn’t have a cat with fleas. And if it’s being used as a preventative measure then the cat probably didn’t encounter any…..beyond day 5 of being dosed. Pay the extra money and get Advantage II. At least it actually works.
