DOG UNDERCOAT RAKE BY POODLE PET CAN BE USED ON A WET OR A DRY COAT. To relieve tangled knots from dense undercoats, this dog rake is the best option. The specially designed pins pull out the loose hair from the undercoat without hurting the dog. 2 rows of precision tapered pins gently remove mats and loose undercoat without tearing out other hair.
TO USE: It is important to get the brush down to the skin as massaging action helps loosen and remove dandruff flakes. Start by gently grooming down the back & towards the tail, being careful not to harm eyes or ears. Smooth your dog’s neck brushing downwards. If your dog has long hair on the back of the legs (feathering), comb it out as it has a tendency to tangle. Lastly, brush gently on the soft underbelly to remove any remaining loose hair.
REDUCE SHEDDING BY UP TO 90% AFTER ONE SESSION: The Poodle Pet rake features smooth, rounded pins that penetrate deep into your dog’s coat to remove loose undercoat. While you cannot stop a healthy dog from normal shedding, you can reduce the amount of hair in your home by brushing your dog regularly with the Poodle Pet Dog Rake.
POODLE PET’S UNDERCOAT RAKE WORKS WELL ON MANY COAT TYPES including double coated breeds, heavy coats, and rustic coat types. They work exceptionally well on any breed that is hand-stripped like many of the Sporting or Terrier breeds. Just be sure to monitor your progress as you work this tool over the dog.
POODLE PET’S PROFESSIONAL GROOMING BRUSH IS GOOD FOR dogs, cats, rabbits, or equestrian horses that have short, medium or long hair. On shedding breeds, they can remove dead, fuzzy undercoat in minutes, while leaving the top coat shiny and healthy. On harsh-coated dogs, they mimic the hand-stripped look quickly and easily.
Customers say
Customers find the hair comb effective and easy to use. They appreciate its quality, sturdiness, and comfort. The brush works well for grooming undercoats and loose hair. They also mention it’s great for bundling up their dogs.

Best brush ever
I’ve tried so many brushes. This is the best brush ever. It made combing my poodle and my golden doodle so easy. Highly recommend making this purchase.

This works well de-matting my Bernedoodle’s hair
I was looking for a brush for my mini Bernedoodle that would help de-mat his hair, and this definitely works to break them up. It has managed to survive thus far being “stolen” and chewed on multiple times, with one exception — it took him no time to completely chew off the white rubber comfort grip. But the prongs are rock solid embedded in the plastic. Since this is a super busy puppy, who chews everything, I have a “double” brush approach – brush him with one on one side, let him get distracted and try to take it, and while that is going on continue brushing with another brush in the other hand. Or just have someone else to help you hold the dog in place. 😉

Works super well!
My puppy is a small mixed breed poodle. I didn’t realize at the time how difficult poodle fur is to work with. I have always had long haired dogs but poodle fur is very different than normal fur. This tool works the best for her fur. Better than the tools I’ve used over the years for my Old English or my Collie or even my little Pomeranian. I’ve now bought two so I have one always handy.I am so glad I decided to give this a try. I do like long haired dogs and I am glad this tool buys me time to enjoy her fluffy before I have to have her trimmed as I start to lose on keeping the matts away. I hate matts!

Tell you about my experience with this poodle comb.
I donât have a poodle, but I do have a Pomeranian and that comb works really well on her. It gets the tangles out the mats out. Itâs a great comb. It doesnât hurt her. It just glides to her thick coats. I would recommend this comb to anybody who has a large or small dog that got lots of hair in that always gets tangled or matted up great comb, check it out. Try it.

Fight the Floof!
We have tried 6 or 7 other brushes to no avail! Hair always tangled up, was an epic fail! Thankfully, before we all had a 2007 Britney moment, the clouds parted, light shone down from above, & Amazon suggested this brush! With little hopes that this would work, we decided to give it a whirl! Hot diggity dog, were we surprised!! Pleasantly, this time! Weâve tried furminators, almost contracted the terminator, & had many a brush fail us! But in the night of 4/19/21 history was made & we put the clippers away! This little floof was floofy again, her majestic hairs blew in the wind, & we finally had a win! Life in the Midwest with ice storms & April showers, bringing lots & lots of mud (instead of flowers), had us a little glum. With so many things stuck in our hair, it was too hard to live âlong hair, donât care.â For the low low price of only one of momâs overpriced coffees, we were saved!! Now we can paw-ty like itâs 1999! This easy to use, life-saving, beautiful purple brush that has been expertly crafted to eliminate unwanted mattes is worth every cent & doesnât leave too big of a dent (in your pocketbook)! You, too, can experience this grooming bliss, if you follow Izzyâs advice & order one of these brushes!1st picture: Floof named Izzy2nd: Our dearly departed hairs, after 1.5 hours of use {with a water bottle for scale}.

Awesome Comb
I have a Golden Doodle that has Poodle fur. She has to be combed every day. This gets the tangles out. I canât recommend it enough.

Not
Not effective on our two standard poodles… to be fair we keep them cut short out here free ranging on our 10 acres…â¨

Easy to use
blueocean009 –
Easy to use and remove the hair after use. I like its round tip so won’t hurt my dog’s skin. I struggled to use a regular comb to untangle her hair but it resolved the issue at once. If you have a pet with curly hair or fur I recommend this!
Katherine Clarke –
This is the only grooming tool our miniature poodle will tolerate, and he actually seems to find it relaxing and enjoys being combed with it. Removes loose hair without bothering him at all. I definitely recommend this to any poodle pawrent!

Combing a rough collie dog, brush works excellent for getting out undercoat hair
