Brilliant!
I took this on a trip with my kittens and it totally saved me. Itâs small enough to fold up and put in your carry-on luggage (even with a bit of clean litter in the bottom) and i love that it comes with a little scoop. The zipper top design is brilliant, it allows you to transport it anywhere without spilling litter. My kittens used this for a week on vacation and it worked out great. Not sure if the size would be sufficient for a larger cat. The only complaint I have is that when my kits would be covering up after doing their business, they kick the litter out of the box and track it everywhere. A mat is necessary with this for that reason, or youâll be vacuuming daily like I did. The other thing is that when they were scraping the litter to cover up their poops, they ended up scraping at the fold over zipper lid (which is just a flap of fabric) and many times would fold it back over the litter box and essentially close the top. I would have to keep re-opening the lid and then had to try to position the box so the lid would be wedged btwn a piece of furniture and less available for them to swipe at. Anyway overall itâs a great little box and Iâm glad I bought it. Was also easy to clean after the trip, just a bit of hot water and soap and then let it dry in the sun. Would definitely recommend!!

Good product concept but not sure how to make it work
My son and his kitty recently moved about 500 miles away and he had about a 7 hour drive to his new home. I accompanied him on the drive, and we didn’t know whether his kitty would need to use a litter box on this long journey. So I ordered this cat travel litter box “just in case.” We decided not to fill the box ahead of time because we figured it would take up too much room in the carrier.Of course, the problem was that we didn’t know how we would know if he needed to use a litter box on this car ride. We were hoping he would give us a sign, but that’s kind of ridiculous thinking on our part. I suspect that if you travel with your kitty on a regular basis, you could train him or her to use this box. Or maybe it’s better suited for cats who go on camping trips or travel with their family on a regular basis because then you could set up the box at the camp site or in a hotel/motel room. But in our case, it was a one time deal, and only for the long car ride.We medicated his kitty ahead of time and he snoozed for much of the ride. And as it turned out, he didn’t exhibit any signs of needing to use a litter box on this trip, so we never got to test out this product.I like that this portable box folds up nicely and has a leakproof liner. However, my son has a fairly large cat (13 pounds), and if he ended up needing to use this box, it would have been a tight fit, and it would have been somewhat messy. So I think this box would work best for small kitties.

Not pee proof
I brought this on a trip with my cats so they could have a litter box while we were traveling. The bottom is fabric and I should have known better and returned it. But I took the risk and my cats peed through the bottom and it now smells of cat urine and the bottom leaked onto the floor of the hutch I had it placed in for privacy for my kitties and that is now also ruined. So if you do get this, also get litter box liners.Also, this is a bit more knit picky, but the food bowl was dog themed for some reason.

When I opened the box, there was already litter in it from a previous owner. And the collapsible bowl was missing. I am disgusted.

It doesn’t collapse in a flat even way, which bothers me extensively as someone who travels often and with a lot of items. It clips closed and then kind of fans out on one side, so you need to tuck it somewhere it minimize its size, or wrap it in a rubber band etc.Other than that, it meets expectations.

I’ve always been worried about needing to suddenly travel with my cat. This is a great, compact travel option. ALL the necessities are included in this set and they fold up small enough to fit in the pockets of my cat carrier. I feel so much better about emergency travel now.This is a well-made litter box. The seams are all solid, the material is thick and durable, the zipper moves smoothly. The removable/replaceable liner is a material that’s easy to clean/rinse off. And the scoop and bowl are decent quality as well. This isn’t a top of the line portable litter box, BUT it’s less than 20 bucks and works VERY well. I’m thrilled to have it. It’s given me so much peace of mind.

This is great for trips. My sister brings her pets back and forth since they live in an RV a few hours away and this makes a difference in portability of the litter box. It can fold down or be zipped up so the litter stays inside. Came with a scooper and a collapsible bowl
