Perfect for my Chinese dwarf hamster.
When I first got this, I wasn’t sure how it work. However, I have a super shy and super small Chinese dwarf hamster who is timid about being held and is too small for hamster balls. So this playpen was a match made in heaven!I pop out the playpen, layer towels with tunnels between them, put some hidey-huts in, and hide snacks in throughout the setup. She gets plenty of room to run, explore, and learn to be braver. She’s too small to push on or climb over the walls at all. They are sturdy against her minute stature. I don’t leave her unattended since she likes to chew, but she’s never tried to chew the walls.She really enjoys her freedom in this setup. She didn’t like the fabric at first. I think the plastic like material is great for clean up but a bit noisy for shy hamsters. But when I put towels in, it made it work well. Even on old t-shirt has worked.Over all A+ for cleanliness, sturdiness (for dwarf hamsters), packability, and ease.

This play pen is pretty durable and easy to fold back up. The bottom is waterproof and it’s very easy to clean it with a handheld Broom and dustpan. It’s big enough that my pet rat can get some exercise, but not too big to be in the way. I will say, the lack of a top part allowed her to learn how to jump out of it over the walls so I did have to stop using it and buy one with a top, but if you have a pet that doesn’t climb or jump super high like guinea pigs this would be perfect for you!

I love that it is big enough for my 6-year-old or me even to be able to sit in there with them if we want but I usually just like to set it up with toys and different things for them to play with in there and have had no problem with them trying to chew through whatsoever. I’ve read reviews where people say it arrived with a hole in it etc but mine was in perfect condition and folds up very easily and it’s great to save on space seeing as how I used to have to use a big box. As far as people saying their hamsters chewed a hole through it immediately I noticed in a lot of those pictures or videos they had no toys or anything down to keep their attention so of course they’re going to try to chew their way out because they’re bored and my one hamster is definitely a chewer but she loves having all the space to run and all the different toys to play with and along with the blue waterproof tarp I bought to put along the bottom has also helped deter that so if you have hamsters and would like to get them out of their cages once a day like I do to be able to run around and play then this is perfect for you and for other small animals as well but I just have two hamsters that live in separate cages and when I put them together in this medium size playpen it’s big enough and has enough areas to hide and play that they get along and never fight or anything so it was definitely a win-win!

I bought this for my 2 guinea pigs to put them in while I clean their cage, it is super spacious! Way bigger than I though it was going to be. I purchased the medium size (M 3.9ft x 14.9in) and it was way bigger than I imagined again! As long as you don’t have your pets in too long or you put a litter box in if they are potty trained, I think it’s a great play pen. It was a little frustrating that they peed in it, and it leaked through to my floor (luckily it was on tile – easy to clean up) but it was very easy to clean itself! Just a simple wipe it out, it is pretty water resistant as it did not soak the product, but because it soaked through I gave it 4 stars. I would highly recommend this product! Probably not for rabbits because they can jump right out, but it is a very nice addition for my pigs! I love letting them have space while I clean their home!

Really space saving and easy to fold up again (twist). It is stored on our bookshelf. We have a syrian hamster who we let out into it with toys. She cannot climb out of the pop up playpen. She has chewed and dug at it but not broken it yet. Great big space for her to exercise, explore and allows the kids to stroke her. When she urinates in the pen I just use warm soapy water to clean it. The material in the base of it doesn’t abort the liquid of the urine quickly so easy to clean at the time. It is similar to a sleeping bags material.I wouldn’t recommend a rabbit in it. Mine just jumped straight out of it. The sides are too flimsy and she pulled the thing with her in a panic. Great for little pets. I bought the L or XL one. It is really big.

For the price, this is great! I bought this so my son could play with his 2 rats and not worry about them going where they shouldn’t. It’s large enough that he (4 years old), 2 rats, and lots of rat playthings can very comfortably fit inside. Even an adult could fit actually. We put down old sheets on the bottom and clipped them to the wire along the floor and walls so that it was easy to clean. Rats like to pee on everything! The walls aren’t super high, so our rats can jump out if they really wanted to, but I sit outside and supervise. My only complaints is that I really wanted the blue one like in the pictures! But there was no option.
