One Lost Soul…
My rescue kitten, an angel with fur, LOVES this floppy fish! For an orphan, even for a non-orphan, my cat can be rather picky. I’ve tried many interactive toys, only to be disappointed and out-of-pocket.Did I mention that my absolute prince of a kitten cannot stay away from this insanely entertaining floppy fish? I, however, want to drop it at the bottom of the ocean to swim with the real fish – since it can literally hold a charge for days, delighting my cat in play, and keeping our new made up fish song stored safely repeating in my head for hours.Great value – great product – great fun. Best cat toy EVER
I got this for my 5 month old rescue kitten. He loved wrestling with the older cats at his foster home and he is now an only cat. I wanted him to have something that he could wrestle with that would be interactive for him. He’s very smart and energetic. He absolutely LOVES this toy!!! He immediately figured out how to keep it moving. He lays on it, sits on it, pounces on it, bats it, tosses it, wrestles with it, hugs it, and carries it (even though it is almost as big as he is). I am having as much fun as he is just watching him. He’s been going non-stop for over 30 minutes so far since it came out of the box. It is a bigger hit than I could have imagined. Seriously, this is the best cat toy EVER!

Could be fun
This review is for the “realistic” version of Potaroma Cat Toys Flopping Fish. My cat got bored with it pretty quickly, but it was fun to watch the interaction while it lasted. I do believe that the included catnip was old as she didn’t really seem to have much reaction to it. The catnip is included, but is contained in a cloth bag inside the fish so I would guess that it’s potency had been drained before arriving to our house. I’m not a catnip expert, but maybe if it had been shipped in a plastic bag and transferred by the owner into the cloth bag, it would be more effective. I may pick up some fresh catnip at the pet store to see if it makes a difference.The action of the fish works well. It lays still until interacted with and it starts flopping it’s tail for a few seconds and then stops unless the cat is batting or biting at it. Everything seems pretty durable and it’s nice that it is rechargeable rather than having to buy batteries for it every time you turn around. Overall, it’s a pretty cool and fun item. I’m just a little disappointed that the catnip had already lost it’s charge.

I was on the fence about whether or not my cat would use this, but I am so glad I bought it! He lives this toy, and it looks pretty realistic too! The tail flaps and he loves it. He walks past it, swats it, then watches it before diving in to join the fish, writhing and flopping around together. Keeps him entertained!

Hey, Hoomans! It is I, Sir Mittens here again. Yes, the Mittens feline. Now, Iâve been around the block, chased a few tails, and between me and you shredded a few couchesâso trust me when I say I know a good toy when I whack one. And this Potaroma Cat Toys Flopping Fish Carp? OH. MY. WHISKERS.Let me tell you, the first time I saw that fish flop, I was like, âWho put a fish into my living room?â I even tried to play it cool, like, âPshh, I knew that thing wasnât real.â and walk away, like I was cool. But the second I did, it started wiggling again⦠so I pounced, as I’m a cat, and I got to do my catting. And let me tell you, it wiggles! Every time I smack it, it flops around like itâs having some kind of fishy meltdown, which is, quite frankly, hilarious. ðOh, and that *silvervine and catnip combo*! Hoomans, Iâm not saying Iâm addicted, but letâs just say Iâve⦠spent some quality time drooling over this fish now. Something about that scent turns me into a majestic predator in my own mind. Iâm suddenly a Black Panther hunting in the jungle, … but actually, in reality I’m a house cat, 2 inches from a sofa…And you know whatâs extra great? This fish has some staying power. My paw claws have met their match. Iâve bunny-kicked it, chewed on it, thrown it across the roomâand this floppy wonder is still flopping.Bottom line? Potaroma has done the impossible. This is a wonderful toy for those cats who love play time and love to attack things. I have a 4 – month old kitten who is very energetic and loves kicker toys this is now one of his top favorite toys along with my 2 year old tripod kitty.The battery lasts a surprisingly long time between charges I think I get any where from 4 days to 8 days of charge out of it and they play constantly.

When I say my cats are OBSESSED with this toy. My boy cat who is part ragdoll/ part Maine coon, he plays with this for hours and is so entertained. He’ll even try to hide it in different places. This is the perfect toy to keep your cat entertained when you aren’t available to play. The charge lasts for a few days at a time as well. Please order this for your kitties, they will be so appreciative!!

It could have just been my experience but the fish did not operate properly. Also it should be noted that I do not believe this would be a good toy for a dog based on the fragility of the âinner battery pack and movement armâ. Any dog that would play with this would destroy the dog in minutes with a little chewing.
