Durable and Fun, Keeps My Pup Entertained
I got this interactive toy for my energetic 30-pound golden retriever puppy, and it has been a hit. The toy emits animal sounds and spins intermittently, taking short breaks before starting again, which keeps my pup engaged. Initially, he was a bit apprehensive, but the start-stop motion piqued his curiosity. The toy’s body is made of solid plastic, and it has withstood some rough play, including being dropped by my Great Dane. While the noises can be a bit annoying for humans, my puppy loves them. The package includes replacement ropes, one made of natural fibers, which is a nice touch. The controls are secured behind a screw-on cap to keep the electronics safe, and they even included a tool for easy access, though a coin works too.A bonus is the USB-C charging, allowing me to use the same chargers as my other devices. Overall, this toy is durable, engaging, and thoughtfully designed, making it a great addition to my puppy’s playtime.

Really cool toy but my dog doesnât play with it that much
The concept of this toy is really great and I do like the overall quality of it, it is durable, nicely designed. But my dog doesnât really end up playing with it for that long. It will keep my dog occupied for about 10 minutes but then he gives up on it. Maybe it is because the toy doesnât move around that aggressively, it spins and wobbles around every 10 seconds but doesnât move that fast or aggressively. If the movement was more aggressive and frequent I think my dog would play with it more. This toy could be better, but overall it is good, it has a nice design, durable, my dog likes it but doesnât love it. The movement could be more aggressive to make it more engaging for the dog.

Just overall dissapointing
This toy works, it does what it says, it moves and it makes noise. My dog that LOVES balls and has a lot of interactive toys that he loves but he has ZERO interest in playing with this toy. Obviously he can’t speak to why, but I have a lot of experience working with a lot of dogs, so i feel pretty confident in my assessment. It is LOUD, and I’m not referring to the optional sound effects, the motor is very loud. It is also hard plastic, so when it’s flopping around on a hard floor, that’s loud. I also suspect the hard plastic material just isn’t apealing for a ball, there is no rubbery texture or give to the surface at all. Asside from my dogs lack of interest, let’s talk about the ropes. The one that is attached is nylon that is frayed at the ends, like it was just cut with dull scissors and added as an afterthought. It cones with 2 extras, one is another roughly cut nylon and the other is jute. Why on earth one would choose jute for a dog toy is beyond me. It is super brittle, not at all durable and its rough and pokey. The toy just overall does not seem to have been designed by anyone that knew anything about dogs. The instruction booklet refers to cats, not dogs. My cat is TERRIFIED of this thing and he does play with other motorized interactive toys. It’s also confusing to figure out which setting you have it on. Lastly, I knew about the nouse that is a dog sound when I ordered it and knew I would not use that noise, but hearing how much it does sound like an actual dog creates huge concern as a dog trainer because it teaches and encourages aggressive behavior towards other dogs. In summary, don’t waste your money, there are wayyyyy better options for motorized interactive dog toys.

Fun and durable interactive dog toy
The Potaroma Interactive Dog Ball Toy is a fun and engaging toy that keeps dogs entertained with its touch-activated movements and sound effects. My dog absolutely loves playing with it, and the durable design holds up well to enthusiastic chewing and tugging. The included rope is fairly strong, and I appreciate that it comes with replacements. Once the included ropes wear out, itâs easy to swap in your own rope of a similar size, making it customizable and long-lasting.Charging is simple and convenient via USB-C, and the toy features three activity modes to suit different play styles. While the modes provide variety, I would have preferred an ultra-low activity setting for quieter play. It also offers four sound settingsâbird, dog, cat, and silentâso you can tailor it to your dogâs preferences or reduce noise when needed. Adjusting these features is straightforward, adding to its ease of use.One minor downside is that you need to open the unit using the included removal tool or a coin to turn it on and off, which can be a slight inconvenience. Despite that, the build quality, fun features, and rechargeable design make this a standout dog toy that keeps pets entertained and active.

disappointment
My dog wasn’t the least bit interested in this toy. It doesn’t move very well. Probably because of the hard plastic outer skin. I tried every way to get the dog interested in this thing. To no avail. Another toy that she wouldn’t gut in the first 10 minutes that she’ll never play with.

As advertised.
This was easy to charge. I am a little bummed that you have to use the tool that is included to open the piece where you turn it off/on each time. But then again, I am not sure where they could have placed those buttons on the outside of the ball??We got an automatic ball launcher for our dog last year and she loved it. Then she realized it is exercise and wasnât as enthusiastic about it. I thought this toy would be a nice way for her to be interactive with something other than us. She wasnât having it. She has zero interest. She looked at us like wtf are thinking? Then again she is 11-12 years old.But is this worth it? I think so. You never know how your dog will respond so itâs worth a shot. It seems durable and we left it activated all of Christmas Day and it would go off by itself sometimes and didnât lose the charge. I think itâs worth a try

Fun and entertaining
I ordered this for a puppy I was fostering. She loved it and would chase it all around the living room. I loved it because it gave me a few minutes away from those sharp puppy teeth. It’s USB rechargeable and easy to use. I wish that you didn’t need the included tool to open the top so you can turn it on and off and recharge it. But I’m not sure how else they could have solved that issue.
