Works great on my dog

Decent leash for calm dogs
We got this for our English Golden Retriever who is currently 45lb. She is a well-mannered dog and decent on a leash (doesn’t pull). This leash works fine with her and should work fine all the way through her adult full size. I used this to replaced our old retractable leash. I will say the plastic feels like it could be a little brittle, the leash material seems much smaller/thinner and even the clasp is the size for a small dog leash. It would be fine for a well-mannered and leash-trained dog but I think a 50-55lb strong dog seeing a squirrel could break it.

Good for small dog
This is my first retractable leash, I’ve tried a handle of leashes since getting my puppy and definitely like this leash, but also have no other reference to compare it to as a disclaimer!The handle is comfortable to hold, I like that it is all plastic so it’s easy to keep clean. The button and lock mechanism is easy to use, you can hold to lock or hold/slide to permanently lock the length. The string seems durable, I was worried it’d be a tiny string my puppy could chew through, but it’s thicker than I imagined. I still wish it was thicker because that’s my biggest problem with leashes at the moment. It’s strong enough to handle my 9lb puppy and hope it lasts to when he is older (20-30lb).

Great leash for small to medium sized dogs
This is a well constructed retractable dog lease with 13 feet of nylon tape. The button to lock and release the tape works smoothly and seems durable enough to withstand a fair amount of use. The sides of the lease have clear plastic on them with small plastic tokens of dog paws and other whimsical items that shake around a bit when you walk. They donât really serve and purpose other than to be decorative but they donât get in the way or make any noise while walking around.This is an excellent product for those who need a retractable leash and are OK with having only 13 feet of length. Other retractable leashes Iâve used tend to have more length in them but that can sometimes be a disadvantage when youâre not paying attention and your pup gets away from you.

Cute retractable leash and works well
This leash is great for small to medium dogs. It’s a very cute design. Perfect for my 30 lb dog. I gave it four stars because I do not like the locking mechanism. The design of it is very uncomfortable for my thumb to sit. I always leave my thumb on the locking mechanism . The knob at the bottom instead of the top is uncomfortable for my thumb to sit on which makes ease of use a little difficult for me. I will get used to it because I like this leash but if I had known that before I ordered it I would have picked a different one.

This is by far the cutest and most adorable retractable dog leash! Though it’s rated for dogs under 55 lbs, I would say it’s realistically better suited for smaller breeds, like a Frenchie, Pug, or mini Doodle-type breeds.

Works great
This retractable leash is super cute and light weight. Love the little charms inside of face. Like that it is a neutral color also. Leash glides in and out with ease no issues so far of the leash messing up or getting stuck inside. Prided well. Would absolutely buy this again.

This is such a cute looking leash. I love the detail of the movable little plastic bones, paws, etc on both sides, the black rubber ears on the outside, along with the rubber paw near the hook of the leash. The locking mechanism is a little different to what I am used to. Normally you press and pull the button to lock the leash (on others that I have used this is the case). With this particular leash you press the button but you pull back the frame around the button to lock. If you look at my pictures with the arrows you will see this (this is also described in the instruction leaflet that is included). To release the lock just gently push the “frame” around the button back. I only have a small dog and I really don’t think this would be tough enough for a stronger larger dog. The price is around the normal price range. I feel it is only fair to give this a 4 star rating as I am concerned about the longevity with regards to the locking mechanism.
