Updated review: good customer service…velcro doesnt stick after two month
Update: Customer service was responsive. Very nice to deal with. My personal solution update was to add 2 snaps over top of the defective velcro and now it will still be usable. We still like the harness.We liked the harness it is a lovely color, but after only about a month of using the harness the velcro no longer was sticky enough to keep the harness on our girl. Diasappointing as I had to add snaps to it to even try to continue using it.

Exactly what I needed for walks
My girl is about 15 pounds and the small fit her perfectly. Itâs hard to tell I could not get her to stop squirming. Plenty of room if she gets bigger and didnât seem to bother her when it was on. Really good quality, stayed secure through the walk, easy to put on and off

Poor design and rapid wear
Ordered this for our small puppy to stop her from strangling herself. She wasn’t the quickest learner to “heel,” so it was stressed right out the gate.From the start, I was perplexed by the design. When it isn’t fastened, the hook side of the velcro was up against the webbing for the parachute clip. It catches on the webbing and was pulling at it. But that seemed to be an aesthetic rather than functional issue.Within a week, the place where the plaid edge binding was joined had torn and separated. Okay, she’s pulling on it, and I can sew, so I stitched it up and we were off to the races again.This harness is used part-time because the dog isn’t always here.After about three months, the velcro was non-functional. I thought the hook side might have worn out because of the constant contact with the webbing, but the loop side is useless, too. The harness doesn’t work any longer, since it’s only held together by the leash clasp on the two metal d-rings on the webbing. The parachute clip pieces slide on the webbing so it doesn’t stay tight.I’ve ordered another harness, but it was delivered to another address on my account (my fault, Christmas ordering and all). Since it will be a while before I can pick that one up, I had to repair this one to allow it to function until then.I stitched on new velcro, this time placing the hook side on the part that doesn’t go up against the webbing.It’s working well for now, but you have to have skills to make it so.This is attractive and very cute. I do like the leash. It’s quite narrow, though. If you have a Frenchie or some really strong little dog, it will hurt your hand.This wears quickly on the velcro and the parachute clip isn’t very functional to hold it together.This was relatively inexpensive, and if you’re buying for a puppy that will outgrow it before it wears out, it may serve your purposes. If this is for a dog that will remain small, you are likely to be disappointed.
