great dog toy
its a smaller that normal soccer ball with straps coming out of it (as in the images). comes with a hand pump everything needed to inflate it.. its easy to use an fill up.color was nice, quality looks fine.only used it once at the beach..with a 10month golden retriever.. sometimes he grabbed the straps sometimes the bit the ball to carry it back.I was thinking maybe if the ball was larger, he would try to go more for the straps since it would be more difficult to get his mouth on the ball.i would say, perhaps add a few more straps, maybe one or 2 more on the opposite side to where the longer loop is.. I say that because when its in the water, I noticed that the ‘pole’ where the long strap is was under water and there was a “bald spot” with no straps to grab .anyway, we’ll see how it lasts, so far so good

Dog Approved!
I bought this a little over a yr ago. He was Itty bitty and the bell sound inside became a quick favorite. This toy has kept him engaged since he was a puppy. Well I will admit he has chewed all the straps off almost and it’s seen better days, it’s still inflated and intact. My dog is 55lbs and rough on most things especially toys. I’m surprised he hasn’t destroyed it yet however the straps played a major role it kept him from chewing on the ball itself. It’s relatively soft which makes it safer for his teeth and mouth. A hard ball could cause broken teeth, which is something I worry about a lot of dog toys are too hard and the impact can cause issues later on. All in all over a yr later it’s still mostly intact, inflated, and keeping my dog engaged. I do not recommend for aggressive chewers though!

My Frenchie loves this!
This soccer ball dog toy is a big hit with my French Bulldog! He loves it, and even my Labrador lets him have it. It does show some wear over time, but since he has a few different styles to play with, it holds up well. Great quality and perfect for interactive fun!

Missing needle
The ball can with a hand pump to blow it up. The hand pump did not come with a needle to screw on to blow the ball up. I had one from a previous ball I purchased. Seems like a durable ball so far.

Great costumer support
We got our first ball for our 9 yr old golden retriever and he loved it! However, somehow one of the straps came off within the first 10 minutes and the fabric came apart making it easy for the ball to be popped. Our golden isnât supper tough on toys but he was so sad when it popped. I reached out to customer service and they quickly replied and sent us a brand new replacement ball! I greatly appreciated their quick responses and that they replaced the ball, especially with how much we spent on it. We trimmed the handles just to make sure there was no way for the straps to come undone, the fabric seems to be in great condition. I think the first issue we experienced was just a fluke. Once we inflated the replacement ball and threw it in the back yard, our golden was so excited and had been obsessed with it. Itâs great to see our dog running around and having this much fun with this item.

This is a great ball but medium size was too small for my dog and she popped it the first day but still loves playing with it. I will order the large ball next time. Love the bright colors

UPDATE: Everything in the following review still stands, BUT completely unsolicited, QDAN contacted me and offered a full refund. That was unexpected and appreciated. I’ll keep the rating as it is, BUT I would totally consider other products from QDAN. Though, unless they made a significant design and durability improvement, I won’t buy another one of these balls for my dog. That said, if your dog isn’t the kind of rabid chewer that mine is, you might find this is a perfect fit for you.———————————–Bought this as a lower cost replacement for the more durable Hyper Pet black and white, all rubber, soccer ball with green tabs. That one lasted a few months. This one, made with a synthetic leather, got us about 2 weeks. If your pup is destructo like ours, donât expect much longevity from this model. Gonna give the Hyper Pet, a gift from a friend, another try. Sure helps keep our girl from destroying all my sons balls! Pink color was cute!

Dog friendly, straps could be a little stronger.
My pooch (Pippa) loves this ball and it’s a great alternative to the large, but more easily poppable, yoga balls that she is obsessed with. The straps are a great feature, but she almost immediatly tore through them (damaging the straps does not seem to hurt the ball).She has punctured through the outer soft shell, but the ball remained inflated. It is light enough for her to pull around and for me to throw, but heavier than a yoga/Swiss ball, so she can’t head it (soccer style) and there is minimal bounce. For size reference, she is 45lbs. For cuteness reference, she is very soft, loves kisses and tummy rubs and answers to Pip.Her new favorite toy and only drawback are the less durable straps.

This ball burst in the first 5 mins of my fo playing with it.I have a Border Collie and it is not a destructive dog. It caught the ball and it burst on its tooth.It still.plays with it months later, but just shakes it like a rag.Not overly happy with it, but the tabs are still holding.
