Worth every penny!
I just received it today, and its recommended that you fully charge it before the first use. So I am excitedly waiting for it to fully charge. I did turn it on to hear how loud it is, and it has a very low humm. Its light weight and has a small vibration to it. It very straight forward a small side and a large size. Seem simplistic can’t wait to use it!Update: As I said above I had to let it charge it was at 90% when I received it and it took maybe 8-10 mins to get to 100 and I charged it using my laptop USB. I have a 8 week old puppy so I let her smell it lick it then turned it on held it close so she could hear it not a flinch so I proceeded. She is toy size may 4 pounds so I started with the smaller size side increase the speed try the large side and it was PERFECT! SUPER EASY TO USE!!! No more talen scratches from my fiesty little girl! Would highly recommend!!

This is an amazing device. It was a pain taking my pup to the vet in these times of distancing. My trainer suggested I try a grinder because I was just too afraid to clip his nails. This is easy to use. I did take it slow allowing my pup to get used to the noise and look of it before actually using the grinder. Very very easy to use. It has a small notch through which you can put the nail. It feels safe and he didnât pull away so obviously is easy on the nail. The button is easy to press and control because the device fits in one hand. The noise level was such a pleasant surprise. It is really low and my pup didnât startle at all.

Let me start by telling you about the dog this nail grinder was used on. Heâs a three year old border collie / Australian Shepard mix rescue, about 42 pounds and medium size. Heâs the kind of dog that doesnât like his nails handled. Heâll let me touch, but doing work on them may trigger him. I tried clippers and heâd snap and try and run away. Over time he got a little better (lots and lots of treats and positive reinforcement!!) but his nails would need some more tlc than the clippers would allow. First day of getting the nail grinder we didnât actually do anything besides turning it on and sitting with it and giving him many treats. Iâd ask for him to give me paw, sit, lay down as it was spinning on the floor. Always rewarding with treats. We did this for about five minutes then turned it off. Second day we had the grinder on, lots of treats again and this time getting close to his paws but not touching. Lots of positive reinforcement and stopped after a few minutes. Today on day three we used peanut butter on a foil for him to lick while I got to started trimming! The grinder works great, I loved the two speeds, as well as that the off button is very quick to respond on turn the grinder off. My pup let me do it as long as there was peanut butter and we got to finish them all and still had about 50% energy left once we were done. If you have a reactive/ sensitive dog, ease into it. The grinder wasnât as quiet as I had hoped for, but with giving my pup time to get used to it it wasnât too bad. Overall Iâm sure it will take some time for him to truly be okay with the grinder but we accomplished much more with it than we did with clippers and we no longer have clicking sounds when heâs a walking on the hardwood! 4* since it is a bit noisier than Iâd like it to be but overall, quality and speeds are great!

Last 21 months before battery wouldn’t hold a charge
For $20, it did a good job. Used it to trim my dog’s nails since he was puppy. Would I buy again? Maybe. The buttons could be located somewhere on the handle (maybe at the bottom?) to keep fingers from accidentally turning the device off when switching grips. This happened almost every single time I used it. I’m not going to buy this again but will be shopping for something more “robust” with a better designed grip.

BUY THIS TOOL!
I have a 75lb Doberman with thick black nails. On top of that she’s an absolute prima dona. She refuses to go outside if the ground is wet so imagine the difficulty with keeping her nails in shape. Normally it would take 2 of us to do her nails…me clipping and hubs keeping her still and giving treats constantly. I read the reviews on this tool and took another leap of faith (yes I’ve tried tool after tool before). It’s like night and day! The tool is audible, but not loud at all. I turned it on a few times and let her sniff it just to familiarize her with it before ever using it. Today we did the 2 person team, but she laid there licking peanut butter from her kong perfectly still and didn’t fight once. One tip: if your dog is as touch sensitive as my girl, give them plenty of time to get to know the tool. Grinding is super fast and easy. If you hold each toe firmly that almost completely negates and vibration when touching the nail too. Most definitely one of the best finds for grooming a hard to groom pooch!

Works well for scaredy-pants dogs
This grinder is easy to use, easy to hold, and works quite well for all three of my uncooperative, scaredy-pants small dogs. They all loathe having their nails cut but will tolerate this grinder being touched to their dainty claws. For small breeds it’s especially helpful that it has a cut out for smaller nails. The noise level is not as quiet as I had hoped but it’s certainly not loud or annoying. There is some vibration but it’s fairly gentle and my dogs tolerated it quickly when I acclimated them just by turning it on and resting the grinder on their paw so they could feel it. The best feature of this grinder in my opinion is that the charge lasts a really long time.

Great product. Super quiet. My big skittish Malamute actually fell asleep during her pedicure. Only draw back is the grinding bit slips if you even apply a little pressure so it takes a long time. Hence the falling asleep lol
