perfect
I’ve had this leash now for 2 years and its perfect for my 2 hounds. One being 80lbs and one being 40lbs. I walk them separately (too hard to handle 2 hounds at the same time) so we get use this quite a bit! Being hounds they can not be trusted off leash because they take off after any critter they see/hear or smell. I like to use the extend leashes when we go hiking or walk trails where there are not many people/dogs so they have freedom to explore a bit but cant take off running into the woods after something. This leash has been through the ringer with both my dogs and has been holding up very well for us! I only came back to this because I was hoping they had a bit of a longer one and figured I would write a review of our experience!

Sturdy & excellent quality. The light is awesome & we definitely use it.
This is very cool! Be prepared to be blown away. Love the light, the sturdiness & the length. This is heavy tho. If you have bad wrists or not much hand/wrist strength then this is not for you. I do wish the bag holder attached much better to the holder, it falls off and clip is not strong enough. We end up carrying it separate or just a bag. I do recommend tho. This is well made; set aside the bag holder. We do use the light on this and that is an excellent feature.

Pros and cons
Pros: very sturdy, nice color, big handle, retracts smooth (granted, I just tried it for the first time)Cons: heavy (not for someone with arthritic wrists or hands) , the flashlight is just ok. If you are hiking at night you will definitely want something high powered because this illuminates great by your feet but when you hold it up to find your dog 26 feet away, you wonât find him/her. Also, as seen in the pictures, the flashlight points straight down at the middle of the leash, so you actually lose some light that way too. I think this is a great product, they just need to tweak the flashlight a little and give it more power.

Received, faulty, replaced.
Absolutely amazing communication with the seller and their team. I received the leash, on time, no damage, very happy. Unfortunately, the flashlight was faulty. The connection between the spring and the back of the battery pack was the issue, I already had one leash from this seller but as we adopted another dog, we bought a second. I switched parts from the flashlight around to see what was causing the fault. The communication from Superzone was absolutely amazing. Replying to emails within 24 hours, even over this festive period. The replacement leash arrived today and it works perfectly, even the flashlight works. I wish I had more dogs now, but I fear the wife would kill me.

Doesnt last, quite disappointing!
I bought this 5 months ago. Today my leash broke for good. Its Nov 2019. Actually Thanksgiving day and last night, not even 6 months after buying this leash it stopped retracting. The 25 foot long lead would not go back in. My brother opened the cover to see if the problem was obvious and it was!The spring was in pieces. This leash was a great find at the time, but I am very disappointed. It just didnt hold up to the torture of three large dogs. The spring that pulls the leash back in kept getting stuck. The fact that it didnt even hold up for a year really bites. I wont be referring this one to any of my dog lover friends. So I changed my review from 5 stars to 1.You will see in my pic that the yellow leash is much smaller because it’s only 16 ft long. The tape is not quite as wide either which is fine for me, it will work on my smaller dogs .Love the size of this thing. I have an extra large 130 lb lab/St.Bernard mix he can pull at times and finally broke our old leash (we had the last one for 10 yrs). I bought two of these because I needed one right away while I waited on this one. You will need 2 AA batteries for the flashlight. I would also recommend you buy your own poop bags as the ones that come with this are flimsy like a vegetable bag from the grocery store. I also dont like that the poop bag holder is designed to hang from the bottom of the leash case, it makes a lot of clacking noise if your moving very much. We looped a strong hair tie through it and attached it to the handle so its firm in place. Happy so far!

Ribbon breaks fairly easy
I loved this at first. I like the ease of the retraction and the light for evening walks. Iâve had it for about 6 weeks and then the ribbon broke. Bummer !!

POOR QUALITY
It looks sturdy it looks ideal but the hook to attach to the dog is the size for small to medium breed dogs the flashlight is extremely dim the leash itself is a small the actual woven leash part is smaller than implied and the Locking mechanism is faulty it does not want to lock or unlock easily the leash as a whole is extremely heavy I found mini excellent replacement leashes for large breed dogs where the nylon strap is larger and the hook for the dog turd connect to the collar is larger for the large breed the break and lock works excellent and the leash overall is more compact inside size and itâs 26 feet and itâs much lighter

Super helpful for large dogs!
We love these leashes for our 100 lb. dogs! They are super sturdy and easy to handle. We recommend using them with a harness instead of a collar for safety in case they start running after something. We RV full-time, so our dogs cannot run free. We want them to be able to sniff and roam a little when out on walks (responsibly), so these leashes are perfect for that! We take trail walks, and they get a little freedom while we’re walking! The attached flashlights are also super helpful when we have to clean up after them at night!

We love this new leash for our dog. The flashlight is a very neat feature. Strong build with sturdy product. Only issue was the leash itself came creased so when retracting at times it gets caught up. This issues was reported to the seller and they were very kind, presenting us with a suitable resolve.
