I have had 4 of these before I purchased this one. The locking mechanism breaks, the leash frays and the clasp breaks so I wanted to get a leash that would be sturdy enough to handle my strong Alaskan Husky who loves to run. She has taken the leash out of my hand when I let my guard down for a second and the case was dragged across a huge parking lot and not a bit of damage to mechanism aside from a few scratches to the case . The lock feature is sturdy enough to let me reign her in when i don’t want her wandering too far off and the 26 ft length is great when she wants to roam and its safe to do so. This is the best retractable leash i have owned and I would buy this one again in a heartbeat.

The leash works well & is of good quality but, the poop bag holder keeps coming off & it is too small for me to use other poop bags other than the ones that came with the leash. The poop bag holder was one of the reasons I bought this product. Now, the cap fell off & is lost, so the poop bags are falling out of the holder. This is why I took a star off of this product.

I purchased this leash because my dog likes to investigate and water trees that are a ways from the sidewalk. Problem is other pet owners don’t pick up after their pets and I got tired of cleaning my shoes.This leash is well built and hopefully will survive the inevitable drops.. I like having a 16 foot tape rather than a cable in case the dog drags across someone. The reflective tape will be a bonus for night walks. The handle fits my hands and the ‘release/lock/pause’ button is easy to work with one hand.The leash comes with an LED that helps me pickup after my dog during a night time walk. The battery is rechargeable and the leash has a magnetic power connecter in case I forget to unplug the reel after charging. It comes with a cable that connects to a standard USB-A charger.I’m pleased with this purchase.

Very sturdy
My huge puppy has broken two leashes already. I’ve been using this one for a while and so far it has held up great.I frequently use the feature where you can lock down the length. And it’s easy to use and works well. No tangling in the retractable line.My puppy sometimes lunges after cats. He’s still a tad reactive to things. But I can hold him with this leash just fine, and I’m a little thing, so that’s saying something!Highly recommend!

Expands Owners Flexibility
I like that our puppy can roam further distances without me having to chase after him (I know I need the exercise but that can be excessive). The tether and retract mechanism is smooth and quiet. There is a lock for any distance out to the max, so if you want and need a close tether you can get it. The retract is rather fast and you can get a cut if you touch the edge of the fast moving tape. Safe if you keep your thumb on the switch and stop the retraction that way. Bottom line is that I love it. It even comes with a small canister to hold plastic bags for picking up stuff you donât want to touch but you absolutely SHOULD!

I had a previous leash same brand that lasted for years. I bought this one as a replacement for when the old one would go, this one was not used for over 3 months. walking today and the end came out of the leash. Won’t buy another one. Garbage now
