Nice leash, good weight
This leash is a nice weight, and it works well with a small or medium animal. It is comfortable to hold and it is easy to lock the leash in place. It comes with a heavy duty, metal clip and strong webbing material that is tangle-free and easily releases and retracts.

I have a small dog and it is perfect for him, they usually walk in urban spaces and this allows him to take a great distance to explore the area. He loves to take long walks, I feel safer using the leash at a great distance.

Nice so far – but I have a gripe
Product is totally decent and works as advertised. Seems totally comparable to any other retractable leash I’ve seen/used.My gripe:I don’t like the way the locking button works. Most of these type leashes allow you to push the lock button to MOMENTARILY lock the leash…push the button to lock, release the button unlock. Then usually there is some other way to slide the button to KEEP the leash locked.This one is different. There is no momentary lock feature. You push the button, it locks. To unlock, you must slide the button/switch into the unlocked position. I don’t care for it; but maybe you’ll prefer it.Just FYI

Working out pretty well
I have ever used one of these retractable leashes before, so I have nothing to compare it to. It does take a little getting used to and you have to learn how to lock and unlock it. I do wish that it had some sort of symbols on it to aid in this. I would not recommend using it in a busy location the first few times until you have the hang of it. Other than that, I feel like it is pretty good quality. The plastic doesn’t seem flimsy or prone to break. The leash runs smoothly in and out. So far, I’m pretty happy.

My dog doesn’t pull, so this is easy to use. Nice to have the extra control, and it’s easy to shorten up when I need to.

The quality is great. Feels good on the hands and it is light. I don’t know about the locking mechanism. It is not so straightforward, and I’m afraid it won’t lock as fast as I need in an emergency. There may be some practice involved, but I have other ones that just lock easier
