this leash for the price is great . one problem was it wouldnât retract in . notice the cloth strip had a gold in it . after ironing the material flat , worked perfectly

Broke within a dozen walks – DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Revised for good customer service.
You get what you pay for. Says good for up to 77lb dog, ours is 70lbs. Broke the brake locking mechanism within a dozen walks or so. Not surprised, when we received it we realized this was a very cheaply made product. Don’t waste your money, spend a few extra bucks and get something that will last more than a handful of walks. I really shoulda known better.Revision – the vendor reached out to us and offered to send us another leash. That is really great customer service and evidence of someone who stands behind their product. Raised to 3 stars for this and will re-rate once we’ve had it for a while. Perhaps we just got a bad one first time around.

The flashlight is why we bought it, broke within weeks
Title says it all, the reason we chose this leash was for the light and within weeks the plastic cover broke off and batteries disappeared. The button action on the retractable leash part is challenging to operate. Not a quality choice.

Doesnât Work Well
The colors are great and the flashlight comes in handy, but the leash doesnât stay locked. When you try to push the button to keep the leash locked in place, it doesnât stick. You have to keep pressing on the lock button to try to get it to stay locked. It makes it difficult to walk a dog when you canât adjust the length of the leash as youâre walking your pet!

DISLIKED THE FACT THAT THE LIGHT BROKE USED LESS THAN ONE WEEK NOT QUALITY AS FAR AS THE LIGHT GOES PIECES OF THELIGHT JUST FELL OUT ONTO THE FLOOR AND THAT WAS THE REASON I BOUGHT THE LEASHsellar has sent new one so far so good and thank you !!!

Ones in handy at night but ..
Comes in handy. Light is very bright but my dog is only 30 pounds and she can pull it right out of lock. If ur dog is heavier or tugs this isnât gonna be for you

Great for apt dwellers.
I live in an apt complex with lots of older ladies who have little dogs that have to be walked, even after dark and are not always the best behaved. I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who falls in the group just described.I chose this one because the leash is supposed to be chew-proof and her current one is just raggedy. The most important factor in my choice though was the light. This will hopefully make it easier to see curbs and other trip hazards as well as where stuff needs to be cleaned before leaving the area. The pink is a pretty touch.Bottom line this thing helps corral some little barking trip hazards and lights up other hazards on the sidewalk or road.I highly recommend!

I was excited to get this as we live in a village with little street lighting. It was great to start with and served the purpose but we dropped it once and the whole casing for the batteries dropped out and it was beyond repair, such a shame as it wasnât cheap. We still use it as a retractable lead and that part is good but we could have bought a plain retractable lead a lot cheaper than this product .

The return mechanism broke on its first use.I have a miniature Jack Russell and this lead should have been ideal for a dog of his size.Sorry,..but its not value for money and I wouldn’t recommend.

The lead jammed and wouldnât retract just when I needed it too so had to drag Toto quickly by running backwards away from another dog. The torch light on both leads has fallen off and the batteries are missing from one of the leads. Iâm now worried a child or a dog might pick them up and swallow them . Safety issue there. Anyone that has these leads must tape the battery opening shut securely.
