Fancy lighted dog leash
This retractable dog leash is definitely a showstopper. The LED lights that change colors are definitely fancy for my neighborhood. I get all kinds of compliments on it whenever I’m walking my pup especially at night. Changing the colors on the LED is a little bit tricky but not impossible once you figure it out. My favorites are green and multicolor but sometimes you just feel in the mood to do blue or yellow. It’s a really good leash and it does a good job with the light to help protect you on those nighttime walks. The retractive option is easy to use and the attachment is very sturdy.

The only thing missing is the poop bag holder. The light is surprisingly powerful…leash is easy to use. Different colored lights are fun! Add the bag holder and it would be five stars!

Solid retractable leash.
Our mini sheepadoodle is a runner. Everything is his to inspect. So having a leash that we can vary his run length is important. This one is holding up better than the previous ones; it’s definitely more hefty due to the lights, but the trigger is also easier than most other ones we’ve had.We never use the lights, so your mileage may vary, unless you and the dog are having a rave party on your walks.

Saw Snake First Time Using This!
The first time I used this I encountered a snake that looked like a wire. If I wouldâve been using my phone light like I did before getting this, I think I wouldâve stepped on it because my phone light isnât near as bright AND the snake didnât budge. (I later found out it wasnât moving due to it being so cold outside, which makes reptiles sluggish. Anyways, I wasnât wanting to spend $50 for a retractable leash at the pet store but I also didnât want to get a poorly put together leash off of Amazon just to save $10-$20 (which wouldnât work too well and be a waste all together). I bought this one because of the reviews and the fact that it not only had a light built into it, but that it also lit up in multiple colors. I like that because it allows people at night in my neighborhood know that Iâm a dog walker making myself known and not some random guy walking around at night with a flashlight. Being dark, they donât see the dog and also being a man, I know from having 3 sisters that nowadays you donât know someoneâs intentions so it can make other females walking at night uncomfortable when they see a random guy walking towards them. I like that this shows youâre making yourself known and when crossing roads, it allows other drivers to see where you are. The light is extremely bright, like something Iâd expect to get on an expensive retractable leash. It honestly surprised me that it worked so well. Also, this feels really heavy, which makes me believe itâs more durable and well made. I have 2 standard poodles (66lbs and 74lbs) and this leash can hold them when I have it locked. Iâve been using this for the last week and still havenât charged it so Iâm also impressed with the battery life. Hopefully, this leash will last a long time and as of now, Iâd highly recommend this leash to anyone thatâs on the fence with determining which leash to get. I havenât tried other leashes off of Amazon but I can at least say that this one is very durable and will impress you!UPDATE: Iâve had the leash a little less than a month and as impressed as Iâve been, the mechanism that retracts the leash doesnât work like it used to. Itâll retract back except for about 10ââ¦then that 10â will make the line slack when your dog comes within range. This is really unfortunate and I hope that nobody else experiences this issue.. Hopefully this was just a defective device because it has really been beyond any leash weâve ever used. For the reason alone of the retractable mechanism giving out (due to it tangling my dog up which is just like a regular leash), Iâm unfortunately changing this from 5 to 3 stars to keep it honest.

Great leash overall particularly for those with larger hands but the light switch is not handy
We have multiple dogs and live in a city that has street lights. I am a 6’1″ adult male.Our city requires dog walkers to pick up the poop which I do 99% of the time. Sometimes I just can’t find it at night….So a retractable leash with a light is better than carrying a leash and a light. In use, the light was bright enough at night that I could see the poop and pick it up. I don’t use it for lighting the way much because we do have street lights.The opening in the handle is about 4″ high. I can get four fingers in the handle with a light pair of gloves which is great. Using ski gloves would not accommodate 4 fingers in the handle.For comparison, a Flexi medium retractable leash has about a 3.5″ high opening.I have never understood why retractable leash manufacturers think if you have a small dog, you must have small hands and therefore need a smaller opening in the leash handle. Makes no sense whatsoever and is something I have to watch out for.Also the handle is a bit thicker around than I normally expect. Works for me, but if you have way smaller hands, it may be hard to grasp the handle securely.Had no problems with the leash mechanism itself. It works smoothly and is reasonably quiet.Ok, why 4 stars instead of 5? The light switch is on the side of the leash and can be turned on accidentally by putting the leash on a table on its side. Also I only turn on the light when needed which requires one hand to hold the leash and the other to turn on the light. This is a problem when you are walking multiple dogs on multiple leashes or are using an umbrella because it is raining.It would have worked better for me if the light switch was on the handle so I could use the same hand holding the leash to turn on the light.

The clip is not quite as large as I would have thought, but generally works absolutely great so far for night walks…would be nice for some kind of notification for when getting close to low battery, but otherwise completely satisfied!

I like it ! It’s a bit extra but so am I, heavier then expected but I’m not running a marathon, I’m just taking Fido to duce on my neighbours lawn. Smooth on all fronts, good buy! I don’t think my dog likes the colours but he is colour blind anyway , I do !
