Lock Broke after the first time the dog tried to run
Pomsky tried to run, the lock was applied and the leash was stuck in the locked position with the lead deployed. We had to lift the button with pliers to get the lead back in and then the button depressed again by itself. It was very easy to lock but the mechanism is Trash! I cannot attest to chew proof as it only lasted hours.

Highly recommend 26ft leash
Very Versatile. I love the 26 ft length because I can let my toy goldendoodle run amuck at the park in a large field of grass while still having her on a leash. She loves it too with the 360 degree range on the leash.

Annoying lock
The retractable leash has hairpin trigger on the lock. On the other hand, it is difficult and awkward to unlock once locked. It often requires two hands to unlock again, which is frustrating as it is not a fluid motion. I feel like the purpose of a retractable leash is convenience and yet this item needs improvement in its unlocking feature to become convenient.
