Best collar I’ve purchased
I’m crazy thrilled with this dog collar for my English Mastiff. Perfect size, easy on and off, love the little dog tag loop off to the side! Brilliant! I will never buy another collar without a leash loop on the upper side of the collar. Its like who ever designed this thing has really had dogs in their life! Super high quality and brilliant design. I’m a very happy customer, and will buy this collar again….if it ever wears out. =)Update…I purchased this brand 3 times now. I’ve purchased a couple of other brands over the years, and keep coming back to Riparo. The turquoise XXL collar came with two prongs (see photo), and I actually like it better. Crazy durable, and again the design with the D ring on the back/top side of the collar make so much difference in my life! Fumbling for a leash clip under the chin of a drooly, excited 160 pound dog is a thing of the past for me!

I bought the collar for my toy poodle and it looks great! My dog loves it as well. My dog is extremely active and adventurous. The collar has held up very well and does not lose its color.

Updating 1yr later..So wide and stiff
Updated Review:Since we kept the collar, we tried softening it up and put it on our pup. We really like it now. My husband is able to easily grab the collar, when necessary. My hand is smaller so it feels tougher on my hand, but it’s solid. The buckle is sturdy and reliable. Now that it’s worn in, it’s a hit!I have a Neapolitan mastiff, with a pretty thick neck. He’s still a puppy so he has a lot of growing to do, but he is 120lbs. This collar is wide! I don’t think I would mind as much if it were flexible, but it is pretty stiff. It does have a nice color, but my pup can’t freely move his head as it fits more like a brace. It’s bizarre. I still have it because the return was going to cost me, and the seller needed to evaluate the item to ensure I would be receiving a full refund minus the return amount. I hadn’t damaged the item, and it still looks new, but given that I was already going to be charged for the return, I didn’t want to risk losing any more money, and be left without the item. We still have it and may use it in the future if it loosens up a bit. Maybe I’ll toss it around and smash it with a meat tenderizer to see if it’ll better suit my big guy…Not for us.

Great For Giant Breeds
This is the best collar I’ve been able to find for our Bullmastiff, Tonka. He’s had it for a couple of months now and it’s holding up great! The stitching and leather are very sturdy and still in tact. It has soft padding on the inside and that holds up great also. He usually wears out his collars by now but not this one.It’s also true to size so if you have a giant breed, it should fit properly.I’m very happy with this purchase

Fantastic at First, But Color Didn’t Last ð
This collar started off strong and looked greatâthe bright orange was perfect for my pupâs style! But after about 5 months, the color began to flake off, leaving it looking pretty worn and, well, a bit grimy. Itâs still sturdy, but I was hoping the color would hold up a bit longer. A bit of a bummer, honestly.

I love everything about this collar. I needed to get my 3 year old Rottweiler a new one because she was wearing my 13 year old little manâs collar from when he was young. He went the same collar but smaller around 11 years old. He passed in March so it made me sad to see the collar.When I saw this pink collar that was also great construction with nice padding I had to get it. Itâs very striking on her and I am sure it will last for years. I am going to get the matching traffic lead leash.
