Love this brush and so does my kitty
We moved and I misplaced my cat’s brush and comb. I have to admit I looked for it half-heartedly since she enjoys being brushed but didn’t truly like the old brush and comb I had been using. My cat has medium long and quite thick fur which tends to develop “dreadlocks” if I don’t keep up with her grooming. Again, I’ve been remiss. I kept “promising” her a new brush and finally after much reading of reviews decided on this one. No lie, when it arrived she watched me open the package and ran over to me when she realized it was her long awaited new brush. To say she purred loudly and rubbed her face on the brush repeatedly as I brushed her would be an understatement. She loves her new brush and so do I! In fact after a brushing and a nap while I typed up this review she’s back for another brushing…that’s amazing.First off, I have severe arthritis in my hands but holding the brush is effortless and pain-free thanks to rubber grips. It is lightweight and the handle is soft enough but not so flimsy that it bends unnecessarily while using (which would require more effort and a tighter grip) on my part. The button to click the bristles in or out is easy to use and works flawlessly when pressed for hair removal. Hair removal is a breeze. The bristles themselves are stiff and short but have little plastic/rubber ends so I don’t worry about scratching her skin. They work great on her thick coat in removing surface hair and her dense undercoat but she didn’t complain once. Being that my girl was overdue for a grooming I did get a great deal of hair off her including undercoat with just a few swipes, more than her old archaic brush ever did. I like that the bristles retract and won’t be broken off while sitting in a drawer. Also, another nicety is that the brush comes in a plastic bag which I plan to store it in when not in use. Just a thoughtful extra.All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. Grooming my dear kitty will be enjoyable for both of us now and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this brush. I am actually planning to purchase two more, one for my Frenchies and one for my nephew for his kitties. Thank you Ruff ‘n Rufus. (PS I can’t comment on the nail clippers bc I didn’t try them and didn’t choose this brush bc of them as I already have great nail clippers for my pets.) Good luck and love your babies! Great Product, Review from Pet Care Professional
I went looking for a brush specifically like this to push the hair off easily. I came across this and for the same price as others, saw it also included a nail clipper, so was a no brainer to purchase.It came in a little grooming bag which I like to put all my grooming supplies in. I can fit another brush and spray in the bag along with a bandana.The nail clipper has a metal latch to keep close that is great, also a nail guard and cuts well. It is very comfortable to grip and has numbs.The brush works well, see video. If you don’t want to push the button down, just push a little harder and it will click and lock into place, same to undo and release the hair with ease of removal which is what I was looking for.I own a dog boarding business and coming from a professional, I highly suggest this!

Good brush
This is for dogs with a lot of fur. It hurts my short haired dog. She doesn’t like it. My long haired dog likes it. The bristles are almost to sharp. Very durable product and it doesn’t pull the hair.

AMAZING BRUSH for an AMAZING PRICE
I got the basic green colored one. It’s amazing for only $10. The bristles are also protected when not in use. The bristles get pushed out and there are little beads on all the bristles so it’s not as harsh on the dog’s skin. It’s actually a very big brush (compared to the basic brush I was using before), which I was not expecting, but it’s great. My dogs are both less than 10 pounds and it works great. It feels like great quality and comes with a 3 year warranty. Clean up is very easy, you just push the button in and then the bristles retract and then you can just sweep the dog fur off with your hand and put it into the trash. Also, I saw someone mention that the button is hard to press. No it’s not. Maybe that person is 80 years old, but you can just apply normal pressure and it will go down. It’s also a very big button. If it was too easy then it would keep going in and out while you are brushing which would be very annoying.I forgot to mention that it comes in a plastic zip-lock travel bag and comes with a free nail clipper. I haven’t used the nail clippers because I have my own already that I’m used to using. I wouldn’t buy this because it comes with a brush and nail clippers. You might like them, but the main thing you should be getting this for is the brush, which is amazing quality, especially for the price. The nail clippers are just a bonus.

– package came on time and not damaged- the nail clippers are sturdy and great and cut my cats nails easily- the brush is ehh . The bristles in the brush are too sparse and not long enough to go through my cats hair and catch the hair . The brush was a waste of money
