SIX Stars!
I seldom write a review this soon after receiving a product, but this one is so outstanding, I just had to. I have a black lab who was a rescue. He was a stray, so we don’t really know his past history. All we know is that he has terrible allergy issues that affect his skin tremendously. His coat gets flaky, dull, and oily all at the same time. He also itches terribly.I really wish I had taken before and and after pics but I didn’t expect such obvious results. Within minutes of running the shedding tool over him, his coat started to look cleaner and shinier. The tool catches the hairs, so you don’t have a big mess on the floor. I just gently brushed him with it, and he really enjoyed it.I would highly recommend this tool if you have a short haired pet who sheds. It is a larger size, so it’s great for my lab. However, I also tried it on our cat, and it worked great for her, too.I think the only thing I would add is to use it gently. It is a metal blade, and if you apply too much pressure, it could hurt. Using it with a gentle touch not only worked to get the hair, but both pets seemed to enjoy getting brushed. I would give it SIX out of five stars!

Works but not my go too favorite
This is a very simple shedding comb that works, but itâs not my favorite. Itâs less effective as the other tools I normally use and takes longer. Itâs actually works better on our cats due to its size. If youâre looking for something that works this definitely works, but itâs not the best option for removing shedding dog hair. The quality is good and came as expected. I just wished it was quicker and more effective with one swipe. I believe this is probably a better option for small breeds or large cats.

A gentle de-shedding brush
I like that this brush is much more gentle then others designed like this. I’m not sure if its the tooth placement or angle but it doesn’t aggressively RIP hair out in large amounts. I’ve got one of those kind in my arsenal of pet brushes and those kind can be irritating to an animal. I like that this brush doesn’t do that. I use this on my older more sensitive cat with zero issues. She doesn’t mind and actually likes it and I get good results with it removing that extra hair they always seem to have.The brush is made heavy duty and has a good rubber grip handle. This brush comes with a cover for the teeth and the cover goes on easily and STAYS on. No need to worry that it will pop off and expose the teeth to being bumped or damaged. I will say that the teeth are strong and it would probably take a good hit to them to do any damage, that’s how strong they are.If you need a good de-shedding brush, I’d recommend you give this one a try.

Professional Deshedding Tool for Pets
Effective at removing loose fur from both dogs and cats with medium to long hair. While it does a good job of reducing shedding, I found it slightly bulky to handle.

Favorite brush!
This brush gets down into the fur to pull out the dead hair without much effort. My car hates brushes and she likes this one. I can swipe both directions and she lays there. Gets out alot of hair! Not for use on long haired larger dogs as this is a smaller comb. The teeth are high quality metal. There is a guard to cover the comb teeth. Comfortable rubber handle.
