About the Frontier UL Collapsible Dinnerware Set
The Frontier Ultralight Collapsible Dinnerware Set is designed to nest together. The Large Bowl, Medium Bowl and Cup collapse down to take up hardly any room in your backpack – and the new lightweight construction means that they won’t add much weight to your pack, either. Despite having shed grams, functionality has been improved. Each bowl now has a rim so you can hold it securely and a curve between the base and sidewalls that matches Sea to Summit spoons. The cup has a central ring in addition to the upper rim to make it easier to grip. And – coming from the pioneer in collapsible camp dinnerware, you know you can rely on premium materials, unparalleled functionality, and extreme durability. 1-Person Set includes a Medium Bowl, Large Bowl, and Medium Cup. 2-Person Set includes 2 Medium Bowls, 2 Large Bowls, and 2 Medium Cups.
Collapsible 1-person mess kit includes a Medium Bowl, Large Bowl, and Medium Cup – all collapsible and ultra lightweight.
Each item collapses to less than 2 centimeters, and all three nest together for compact packing
Made from EU food-grade silicone and glass-reinforced nylon 66. Cup features nylon rings to maintain shape and shield fingertips from heat
Base and rim made of 30% glass-reinforced nylon 66 for lightweight durability
Light and packable, strong and functional – the perfect camp dinnerware; the curve between the sidewalls and base perfectly matches Sea to Summit spoons – so you’ll never miss a morsel; nests perfectly inside the Frontier 2 Liter Pouring Pot; Sea to Summit Guarantee is offered for the lifetime of this product

Compact
I usually have a lot of other items with me when Iâm in the field and these where a perfect fit didnât take up any extra space and was easy to clean

Small Size and Folds Down Even Smaller
Wish the cup was a bit larger in capacity, but everything is high quality and folds down for easy storage. Extremely light weight as well.

As compact as it gets
A lot of camping meals for me are freeze-dried or handheld, but sometimes, especially car camping, it’s real food. And you need a plate. And a bowl. And a cup. Or some combination of them. But so much to pack…unless they were all flat and nested. I have seen this sort of design before, in fact I have several collapsible dog bowls I used over the years. But these are on a different level. The bases are extremely solid yet still lightweight, and provide a decent bit of insulation for hot meals. The seams and creases are thick enough to make me think they have a decent lifespan before they are the inevitable failure point. At first I worried about a wayward fork punching a hole but it has yet to happen. Honestly, if there is a downside they can be tricky to clean, some food likes to hide in the grooves of the folds and/or they collapse midwash. If you are car camping and have a bucket or portable sink or something, or just a convenient body of water, not too bad, but if you are backpacking and water discipline is a thing, good luck. Otherwise, heartily recommended.

Lightweight dinnerware for camping
This set of silicone dinnerware weighs almost nothing and collapses down thin enough to store almost anywhere in your backpack. It tolerates heat up to the boiling point but keeps that heat away from your hands. Easy to clean and store and even looks good on the table. It’s a nice solution for backpackers who like a semi-civilized approach to mealtime.Backpackers will like this set because of the light weight and the small footprint. They will also approve of dinnerware that doesn’t scald you when you put hot stuff in it and then try to handle it. It beats aluminium cookware all to pieces. If you’ve ever burned your lip while drinking a cup of coffee out of a standard cook set you’ll know what I’m talking about. The silicon and nylon mix, or whatever these things are made of doesn’t pass heat from the food to you. This is not cookware. It is not designed to place over heat or in a microwave oven. You have to handle that with other stuff, but it’s great for the mealtime end of the process. The pieces are flexible enough to collapse down to nothing but once opened up they are rigid. They won’t flop around on you. The cup holds a full 8 ounces of liquid without overflowing, and the bowls are nicely sized for holding a meal’s worth of food. The material is rated from well below freezing to boiling, so if your idea of “cooking” on the trail is dehydrated food, then you can just dump it all in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. I tried it with ramen, and it worked fine. The collapsable portion of the bowl is fairly soft silicone, but the rim and the bottom are made of harder stuff, so it should be okay to use a knife without endangering the bowl. Just be careful.Dishwasher safe, but not microwave or stovetop safe. And did I mention they look good on the table? My Lady Love noticed that right away. These things are not particularly cheap compared to a lot of campware out there, but they offer some serious benefits that the rest of the gear doesn’t, so I think it’s a reasonable price. I’m a fan.

The Ultimate Lightweight Camping Set
The set includes 2 Medium Bowls, 2 Large Bowls, and 2 Medium Cups, all of which are collapsible and incredibly lightweight, making them a dream for any camping or hiking enthusiast. The bowls are nothing short of amazing. They are so light yet surprisingly strong, and the sizes are perfect for everything from cereal to full meals. The material is a durable combination of EU food-grade silicone and glass-reinforced nylon 66, which means they can handle the rigors of outdoor use without a problem. Plus, the fact that each item collapses to less than 2 centimeters allows for compact packing, which is a huge plus when space is at a premium. The cups are equally impressive. They are very light, feature nylon rings to maintain shape, and shield fingertips from heat â a thoughtful design that showcases the attention to detail Sea to Summit has put into this product. The base and rim made of 30% glass-reinforced nylon 66 add to the overall durability of the cups, ensuring they last through many adventures.Overall, the quality of this dinnerware set is incredible. It’s light and packable, yet strong and functional. The curve between the sidewalls and base is designed to match Sea to Summit spoons perfectly, so you’ll never miss a morsel. It even nests perfectly inside the Frontier 2 Liter Pouring Pot, showing that Sea to Summit has thought of everything to make your outdoor dining as convenient as possible.

We got these for a 4 day hike where we had to carry everything and needed to make the everyday items as lightweight and compact as possible. These bowls are very lightweight, easy to clean and when collapsed take very little space in the backpack. Worth the money.
