Decent “backup” for me, lid does not stay on
SUMMARY: Decent silicone hand pump. Lid does NOT snap or stay on Suction bottom works for a few seconds, then lost its seal over time, not sure why needed. I use it as a backup.Bought for returning to work as a backup should my electric double pump stop working. With so many parts with an electric pump (hoses, flange, duck valve, charging it, etc) This is an easy on the go option.IF I was to really want to do this instead of the electric process, I would prefer a pack of 2.Since I typically use a double electric pump any way, I don’t have the issue of “let down”, and even when breast feeding baby direct, I never really had a lot of “let down”.Since I return to work soon, I have been electric pumping and then bottle feeding.So, for work I will still need other gear: breast milk storage bags, cooler, marker, etc. So, even though smaller, still need all the other gear to support the process.

Good milk collector, strong suction, poor lid
This milk collector is made of a sturdy silicone, it is thick and durable and can be disinfected. It creates a gentle suction that pulls extra milk out while I’m feeding my baby on the other side. It is comfortable to use, much more so than my electric pump. It also has a pretty scroll design on the outside. (I know that doesn’t affect performance, but I like it)The base has a suction that is quite strong. It stays put on a smooth surface, which I appreciate, after having knocked over other brand milk collectors. There is a small tab sticking out of the suction cup to make for easy removal.The lid does not fit well, and it tends to pop off quite easily. It works okay for home use on a stable surface, with no other small children or pets around who might knock it loose.

Every Nursing mom needs one!
I love this thing! I have 2 of them so I always have at least one handy. I use it when Iâm nursing to catch the letdown on the other side- I collect an ounce or more each time. Love the lid it comes with.. so many times with my first child I knocked the darn thing over and spilled it all. Highly recommend!
