Great quality, pleased we got it
Itâs a great plate and we use it for dining out mostly. We like the look and the heft. Plus itâs easy to clean and we like that you can pop it in the dishwasher. The suction is decent but she flipped it the first time we used it after about 30min. She first did that at around 13 months so it might have been more resistant to being lifted when she was younger. I think most kids can probably tear a suctioned plate or bowl off eventually but she doesnât usually bother until the meal is over and sheâs bored, by which time thereâs rarely a lot to toss on the floor anyways and we can grab it before things get messy. Definitely pleased with the purchase.

Encourages eating
As grandparents we have tried all the things to get our grandchildren (twins) to eat instead of play with their food on the tray. At this age (1 year) it was more interesting to them to have things separate and easier to grab as they were able to slide the pieces up the side of the dish. Also, having the food items separate allowed us to see how much of which things were actually being eaten. The suction works best if it’s damp but our littles were able to still work at getting it unstuck. The good news was that it took a little work and we were able to quickly re-stick it or grab the dish before it went overboard. I love that the dish has a square side to it so that it can be placed right up to the edge of the tray. Clean up is a breeze; however, I’ve not put it in the dishwasher.

I used this on my wooden table and the suction was good but not perfect. I put it on a counter top and it stuck like glue! It would probably workson a high chair well.

Not pull proof but nice beginner tray
Definitely not pull proof. My 13 month old got it up first try. On the other hand itâs good quality, easy to clean, very cute plate. I feel like heâll have this plate for a long time. Hopefully way past the plate throwing phase âºï¸

Efficient, Easy + Adorable
This little plate packs a punch, both aesthetically and practically. I have eight month old triplets, so BLW mealtime can be a little crazyâ this thing stays put on the tray and keeps things (a littleð ) contained, which I so appreciate. I really like that thereâs a pull tab on the suction mechanism to make removal easier, the silicone is soft and really easy to clean and the color is so pretty. My only heads-up is that the height of the sides is such that your child should be fully âpincher styleâ picking up food to use it wellâ if they are still trying to drag things off the edge of the tray, theyâll be frustrated by this. Overall love it, and will be back for two more!

Love the plate, until I washed it
I bought two plates from this company and I have a bunch of other suction plates from multiple other companies I bought off Amazon . These are the best with suction . The sturdiness is amazing, very thick and the sections are deep which is nice .. but for some reason both my plates got this weird nasty looking film on them right after they were washed . I washed them with all the other plates Iâve bought off here and none of them look like this . The dark blue one is the worst , but I also bought the dark orangish/ brown color . I loooved the color of these and thatâs mainly why I chose this company . But Iâll be honest , the film looks so unappealing I donât really want to feed my little one off of them anymore ð Iâve washed a couple times and itâs always the same outcome . ð

My favorite suction plate!
Iâve tried a few different suction plates since having my son. What I like about the simka rose plate is that it elevates the plate above the table a little bit. Other plates takes up a bigger surface area but the simka rose plate is a average size plate and fits better on the table. I have noticed some people saying that it comes off the table, my response to that is, of course it comes off. Itâs not glued down. If you grab it at the right angle it comes up, which it should. My 1 year old son cannot get the plate off the table which I like but I donât have any trouble pulling it off. The colors are really cute, I love the green! The fact you can dishwasher clean it makes my life a little easier. I have 2 of them and would definitely include it on my must have baby items. Itâs definitely going to be a go to baby shower gift. Even my 4 year old loves eating off of it because he can put his food into the different sections. Great item, I would definitely buy again!

I bought 3 of these as they seemed to be better quality than other silicone plates. However, beware if you use any scented dish soap that it will stay on the plates forever. All the food that touched the surface ended up tasting like soap. I tried the online suggestions of soaking/cleaning with vinegar etc and it did not help. We stopped using these and opted for bamboo plates instead which work much better.
