Great baby soother. Daughter is gonna love it. My new grand baby is going to love it as well. Very portable and very easy to use.

It’s really great. As cute as you would expect from skip hop and it works. The volume is not very loud so it isnt intended for a whole room sound machine. It is perfect for hanging on the car seat or above baby’s swing. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and has just enough options for sounds that you will probably find one your baby likes. Small nitpicks: Battery compartment is a pain to open but it seems like screw-down battery doors are the norm. You need to pay extra attention that the button is seated when you attach it to something. Both the button and the strap are flexible and it doesnt take much to undo it if it isn’t correctly seated through the hole. Those are FAR from deal breakers for such a cute functional piece of baby gear. I heartily reccomend.

The most significant drawback is how long the noise plays. It only lasts up to six hours, which isn’t quite enough for longer outings or overnight use. I would have preferred a longer duration, around 12 hours, to avoid needing to replay the sound.Overall, despite this minor inconvenience, the Skip Hop Portable Baby Soother earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me. Its convenience and the ability to customize sounds make it a valuable tool for soothing your little one. If you’re looking for a reliable and versatile soother, this owl-themed option is worth considering.

Perfect to Help Little Ones Go to Sleep
It looks just as pictured. Has the standard “Go to Sleep” Lullaby plus another one, and a white noise. The only complaint my family has had is that they wish there were a few more sounds to choose from. There’s a multi-choice timer & volume control. I use this when my grand boys are over for naps & bedtime, and even the 4-year-old asks for it when getting settled. I usually run it for 30 minutes at a time, using one weekend per month (sometimes every other month) for right at a year and have not changed the original batteries placed in it yet. The battery compartment does have screwed closure so you don’t have to worry about the littles taking them out. Being 2 & 4 (1 & 3 when purchased), it’s been dropped multiple times & keeps right on working. There is a strap as well in case you want to secure it to a pack & play or stroller, etc. This product is well worth the money.

I bought this as a new mom as our daughter didn’t like the car seat. It works like magic. As soon as I turn it on, she instantly calms down and most often falls asleep. We have used this countless times and it has paid for itself 300x over. Don’t know what I would do without it. The battery life is also fabulous. We are 7 weeks in and on our first ones.

This little owl has been so helpful in soothing my granddaughter. Switch on the forest sounds and she calms like magic! Easy to use and battery is still going after several weeks.
