10lb papillon, perfect enough
I have a male 10lb papillon. I followed the measurement guide. I happen to know someone who owns the smaller variant. Turns out, even though he is small, the back measurement led me correctly to purchase the larger one. His back is too long compared to other breeds of similar weight. For this larger bag, I just put a towel or two inside so itâs more comfortable for him, it gives a bit of a platform he can curl up on that way. He did chew away the nub that adjusts the head hole, so I just tied it off to where he can comfortably fit his head through, and perhaps not his whole body without ridiculous effort. This stops him from leaping out. The included attachment inside the bag to secure the dogs leash is nice, but my dog has weird proportions I think. Itâs a little too tight pulling without the towels in there in my opinion.For the price, this is a solid purchase. People also love seeing his little head poke out. Very practical, offers a nice option as opposed to typical carriers, decently visible, and lightweight but durable enough.He also did chew off one of the other plastic buckles that goes across my chest/back. I just put a quick knot and untie it if using the chest/back strap now. I would have paid, say, 5-10 more if it came with aluminum/metal buckles. Iâll just replace the buckle myself for nowThe bag has no defects. Just keep it away from doggy teeth. Lol

i was pleasantly surprised to find that this pack for holding a 11-12 pound Morkie was perfect sized & it has a nice firm / padded hard bottom so the pup isn’t stressing out bc they’re not on solid platform/bottom. it’s comfortable to wear & good looking. inexpensive & comfortable for dog.i recommend!

Good quality
Have only used once, trying to get my boy used to it. Only used forward facing because I canât get my 15lbs dog to sit all the way in. I think backpack runs a little smaller than advertised. Fabric has mesh but I could see in a hot day this could get a little warm for a pup! Will continue to use and hopefully my dog gets more comfortable during our hikes! I do like the storage around for phone, wallet and water!

You get what you pay for
This was cheap and quickly became uncomfortable. It did let us explore a bit with a pre-vaccinated puppy, but had a lot of limitations. I would choose a different, more supportive product if I had it yj do over.

I was surprised at how well made this dog carrier was. Roomy, well padded. We purchased for our senior dog. Unfortunately he was not a fan. Not the fault of the dog carrier.

Looks exactly as pictured, there’s a zippered pocket at the front, 2 mesh pockets on the side that are a very good size and my puppy seemed very comfortable in it!! I placed it in front of my body and the waist cilps definitely helps with weight distribution. Love this!!

I bought this for an event I was taking my two dogs to so if needed, one could ride in the stroller and the other in this pack. I chose this one in part because it would arrive before the event date. Unfortunately it was delayed so it didnât arrive in time. But thought Iâd try it on with my dog thinking Iâd keep it for possible future needs. My dog was only about 14 pounds at the time and fairly tall/long legged. He fit in it fine. But when I went to put the pack on me and the counter was no longer supporting the bottom, it was chocking him. The bottom doesn’t stay flat so slopes and dog is deeper into it and head was barely out. I donât see how you could put a larger dog in something that size, but it would need to be so its head would be out safely. But then if you had a much lighter dog so the bottom didnât sag, the dogâs head would even reach the hole.
