This sound machine is great. There are a lot of different sounds to choose from and the machine is easy to work. Also the sounds are very loud and clear you can adjust the volume but even at it’s loudest it’s very clear. The battery lasts a long time, all night to be exact without being plugged in (10pm to 6am) haven’t pushed it longer then that. Would 100% recommend this to anyone with a newborn looking for various sounds to help with sleeping

This rechargeable Sound Machine with Night Light has 42 sounds to choose from under 3 categories: noise, fans, music. The noise category includes 19 sounds such as white/pink/brown noise, different water features, campfire, frogs, crickets, wind chime, and singing bowl. The fan category includes 16 sounds of different fans, hair dryers, vacuum cleaner, and washing machine. The music category has 7 sounds, although only 2 of them are music and loop quite quickly with a fade out and restart of song. The music category also includes shushing (not so great), heartbeat, “womb sounds” (sounds more like bubbles to me), train, and clock ticking.A few of the nature sounds could have been done better as while they are “non-looping” and you don’t hear the sound stop and start as it loops, they actually have very short loops, so for example, you hear the exact same bird sequence repeated quickly.Some of the sounds are a bit tin-ny, but not all of them.Not everyone will like all the sounds (and there are some I would have be much different to be more soothing), but more than likely you will be able to find a few favorites to use as white noise for a variety of situations.You cannot go backward through the sounds. When you touch one of the category buttons it starts at the first selection in that category.It remembers your last setting used after you have powered off and back on.The volume adjustment level is very good.The child lock button is nice. Although it tells you how to unlock it if you try to push the buttons so at some point your child will understand how to override that :-). But it also helps you from accidentally pushing buttons. You can still change the lightThe light is nice for ambient light or to turn on and off as needed. You can adjust the brightness. It does not have an option to cycle through the colors. You can pick a color and brightness.You can use the sound machine + light, just the sound machine, or just the light.The machine can run continuous or auto shut-off at 1, 2, or 3 hours.The buttons are easy to use and figure out and you can turn the night light on by touching the top center of the unit.USB rechargeable (no adapter included) and it works while plugged in.Also has a headphone jack.Easily portable to a different room or to take with you. Although if you are looking for super tiny and compact for limited travel space, this would take up a bit of luggage space so see product dimensions to decide.It also comes with a goofy assortment of stickers so you can add a face to your piggy if desired.I don’t generally care for the thunderstorm sound tracks on sound machines, but this one is good and I’m listening to it as I type my review. Overall, a good white noise/sound machine and appropriately priced currently at $17.94.

Sound quality poor
It is a cute item and I love the fact that it has a headphone jack but I did not like the sound quality. It was not clear. Sounded kinda muffled. I would’ve kept it but I returned it.

Not operating the way it’s supposed to.
I charge and use this product according to directions. However, it’s still not operating the way they claim it does. I hate to leave negative reviews. But it’s just not working the way directions state.
