Tiny but powerful
I was looking for something that would help mitigate the noise from the clumsy Sasquatch who lives above me and spends hours every day stomping around dropping things on the hardwood floor. When I saw the size of this thing (tiny) I was dubious, but it works! I have it positioned behind my couch and tuned to one of the ambient music settings at a moderate volume, and while it doesnât eliminate Leadfootâs racket entirely, it makes it much more tolerable. The various fan, white noise, and nature settings provide other nice options. Great value for the size and price.

Surprisingly good sound quality
I’m impressed my the quality of the sound for something so compact. I love it! the noise settings are great. I got it for pink nose, but love the brown noise. There are a bunch of guys who sit outside my window and smoke, cough, yell, and complain around the clock. This blocks them out even better than the AC unit and for a lot less money! It’s also very loud for the size. Some people complain that it’s too loud even on the quietest setting, and I can see why. It won’t turn down to a really soft sound, but the point of it is to block out noise, so it’s not a problem for me. I haven’t turned it all the way up yet. I just know that it got way louder than I’ll ever need it before I hit the upper limit. It gets loud enough that I can’t tell if the AC unit next to it is running out not. I’m really pleased.I can’t say that I’d recommend it for the music settings, as the sound quality of a single, tiny speaker isn’t up to replicating a piano how is like to hear it, but I’m really picky about audio. There’s no way the “Alpha Wave” setting can change brainwave frequency with a single speaker, but it’s a choice I’m sure someone will appreciate. Just not me. I’ll stick with the noises.A lot of people complain that you have to cycle through the settings and they’re not grouped into categories like some similar products. I don’t have a problem with this. It took only me a few minutes to get familiar with where things were and I think most people will be like me and find there are one or two they like and get to them quickly. Honestly, every time I’ve taken it off the Brown noise setting to give something elsea try, I end up back on Brown noise after a few minutes anyway. I’d guess that 98% of people will find what works for them and just keep it there like I do. I chose this one because the reviews I read about the ones that have the more sophisticated controls used looped sounds and there are audible clicks when the loops cycle. All of the sounds on this one are smooth and clear. I only wish it projected sound 360°. It would be great if it sent noise out the back to prevent the inside sounds from being heard on the outside. Even though it puts sounds out on three sides, the quality and quantity of the sound varies greatly depending on the angle. The sound coming out the sides is insignificant compared to the front.Overall, a very compact product that doors what it says very well and provides surprisingly good sound for the size.

I needed a new one. Iâve returned two for various reasons. Hereâs what I love about this one. Timer mode or continuous loop. Iâm a super light sleeper so timer mode doesnât work for me as I wake up when it shuts off.I love the speakers on the side. Iâm no Keeping it on my end table, so if the speaker is on top the sound goes up instead of to me.I love that itâs small. And I love that the sound does not seem muffled at all. Authentic sounds put this one above others.Buy it!

BROWN NOISE – thatâs what I bought it for. I have been sleeping like a baby. I had a name brand noise machine for tinnitus , before this. This is much better. Cheaper , looks better aesthetic wise. Works better. Stops the ringing in my ears. The brown noise helps me sleep , because if you have ADD or now called ADHD. Apparently it calms you somehow. Google it I canât remember. All I know is it works & it works well. Iâm so happy I bought it. It also has 2 white noise sounds. Only one brown noise sound but thatâs great. It has birds I think and like 30 other sounds. Rain fall. Ocean waves etc. Iâm just here for the brown noise and loving it. Try it out – return it if you donât like it. But itâs a noise machine hard not to like. lol.

When I bought a sound machine years back, it was good, but it also was big, almost as big as a toaster. This one is really small (check the measurements), not much bigger than my hand, and it can travel with me and also be moved, in a flash, around my home. Many sound choices, but the several white noise ones serve me best (some with higher treble, some with more cloaking bass, etc.). A few of the many many great sounds are, I think, jokes! One, for example, is the sound of slowly slowly dripping water, which as a boy in NJ I was told was “Chinese Water Torture,” and torture it remains today. The wood finish looks rich and smart; easy to operate. A tremendous value for the price. Thanks!
