Food grade silicon
I have not tried this out with my dog yet, however I observed the following. After washing and drying one of the silicone dog water/feeder I found it dried fast which is a plus. Easy to flatten for storage on a back pack with a spring loaded clamp or just to hang them in a hunting or hiking vest, throw into a truck or bag. or trunk. Expands real easy as well. It was filled with water and from a height of 4 inches or so dropped to the counter about 6 times, 4 times it remained fully extended and two times it partially collapsed. It doesnât take much pressure to collapse the silicone sides when it is empty or full. This may prove to be an issue especially when it gets used on not so flat ground or a energetic pup. I would purchase this again

They’re great for freezer bag cooking
I make my own dehydrated FBC meals for backpacking (think DIY Mountain House), but I really hate trying to eat them out of a plastic bag. Bought these so I have somewhere to dump the food when it’s done rehydrating. They’re great. They have a large capacity, they’re light, they pack down small, and they’re really easy to clean. Miles better than eating out of a bag.

It does bowl things and collapses. Not much to it.

Collapses too easily
Very nice silicone material makes it easy to throw it in the dish washer for cleaning. Great for camping/backpacking. Unfortunately very easy to collapse. If my dog accidentally bumps it with his foot it collapses. It’s not so bad if it’s his food bowl but a huge mess if it’s his water bowl.
