Best plate yet!
We ordered these plates for our special needs son who has difficulty eating on his own. We’ve tried every kind of special needs plate under the sun and even improvised some to allow for the plate to stay in place, have a lip that enables him to scoop food onto a utensil by himself, and overall be simple to use, clean, etc. This plate is the best! It stays in place, allows him to scoop his food, is durable an dish-washer safe, and at a very reasonable price. Made in the USA- thank you for a great product!

Quality , made in USA and durable for disabled or elderly
We have had one of these for years. Still useable but wanted to get some more . First , this is made in the USA. It is a quality plate and very functional. We have been using one for at least 4-5 years now and still using it. Our daughter had purchased it years ago for her disabled mother and has performed great. We wanted to replace it with a new one as well as get some to leave at our daughters homes. We have tried various kinds, shapes and such and most are flimsy and garbage. Yes this is a little pricey. However in our case it has lasted years with daily use , multiple times a day. It has been washed in the dishwasher and never by hand. The rubber has not torn and the only really wear on it is from scratches from a sharp knife cutting food in it.We purchased 3 new ones . They are the same quality , size , shape and such as our original. We use the large size, 9.5 inches in diameter. We had not even realized that you could push down on the divided side and it would create a suction to hold the plate in place. Although in order to do that, there cant be food on it yet. We never needed that anyway. The rubber on these plates have kept the plate from sliding on the table or lap table for my disabled wife to use for years. These are exactly the same and so they hold in place with needing to create that suction or putting any anti slip items under the plate. both sides are sloped so that you can use the one side for large items such as pancake, sandwiches , burgers that type thing. The other side is sloped as well and with the dividers can separate veggies, fruits and meats from mixing together.We purchased these plates ourselves. We do not know the seller or manufacturer and are not receiving anything for giving this 5 star rating. We are daily users of these items for my disabled wife, have tried all kinds of things to assist her with dexterity issues and from personal , timely experience we believe in our opinion these plates are quality . These plates assist my wife in improving her daily quality of life in simply eating with dignity and ease of use.

I received the package taped up across each edge. Didnât exactly translate as new/unused. The plate itself looked fine, but it wasnât exactly what I thought. The suction applies to only one side, with the dividers. To get it to suction requires some elbow grease. I couldnât get it to suction, but my husband could. He works in construction. We bought it to use with our infant, but wanted it more specifically for the slant side. Since it doesnât suction itâs just not for us.

Not consistent
I bought one of these and it worked great. Just what I need for my mother with dementia. Unfortunately, I pressed too hard and broke it. I ordered another one. The second one does not work very well. When I press it, most of the time it does not stick and when it does, by time I put the food on it, it no longer sticks. I wish there was some consistency with this product.I contacted the inventor of this plate. A very pleasant and caring gentleman. He explained that the problems I was having are user error. And he explained that my wood grain table was not ideal for the product use.He went above and beyond to help me with this problem.

SAFE AND VERY USABLE TABLEWARE PRODUCT FOR DISABLED AND/OR CHILDREN
Thank you for helping us to assist our mom who suffers from dementia. The 3 compartments, the bright red color, (good color for dementia patient) and the suctioned bottom are everything we needed to be able to help mom to better feed herself with a spoon and keep the plate stabilized. We had been using china bowls just for the edges, and all her food would get blended together. Now she can enjoy different textures of foods and their flavors not all blended. We can also give her finger foods with a sauce to stay in a different spot on the sloped plate. This is a wonderful product, and we are all happy that we found it. Thanks!

GREAT for after-stroke folks!
Got one of these for my grandma. GAME CHANGER. It does grip very well, just put a little pressure in the center on a clean surface. She lost mobility in her main right hand and has to use only her left, so sliding and scooping can be such a hassle causing cold food and low self esteem…. the grip doesn’t let the plate slide all over and the slant in the plate lets her be able to scoop up everything! I like how it’s double-sided as well. She has had one of these for months and it still works like it did on day 1. Easy to rinse off, too!Basically the dream plate for after-stroke folks (or any disability with getting food off plates). The only two things that would make it perfect is making the edge a little higher on the deep slant-side for even easier scooping and to make it dishwasher/microwave friendly…. but really, it’s worth every penny.Will definitely be buying more.

I bought both the large and small STAYnEAT plates for my husband who has Alzheimer’s and also a Parkinson’s-type tremor. He has had difficulty eating and these plates have been wonderful. The sloped surface with an edge has helped him get his food onto his eating utensil. The suction on the bottom keeps the plate from sliding away from him. They have made my life easier because there is less clean-up. And they are dishwasher-safe. Very impressed!
