These were exactly what I was looking for. I needed 2″ blocks for a project I was working on for my Grand Daughter. I liked the price for the amount of blocks I received. My only complaint is that some of the edges were rough. I needed to sand a few edges to get a good finished look.

DIY Baby Block Success
I bought a set of these along with two sets of paint pens for a baby shower craft and it was a huge hit! The blocks were smooth and we had no problems designing and painting the blocks with fine point and medium point paint pens. The paint bled a very small amount across the grain but for our purposes it wasnât a problem and was barely noticable. If youâre trying to design something with super clean and fine lines these may not be for you (although Iâm also not sure you can find any type of wood that wouldnât bleed a little). Now Iâm also considering purchasing another set for a summer craft for my 4 and 6 year old!
