The Transitional Swaddle Sack is the easiest & safest way to wean baby from a traditional swaddle. The arms up sleeve design allows baby to self-soothe and the unique ½-length sleeves with foldover mitten cuffs closed provide partial suppression of the Startle Reflex to promote better sleep. Importantly, the patented design is safer because baby can use their arms if baby rolls over during sleep. The Transitional Swaddle Sack is ideal for babies who prefer to sleep with arms up, babies who are starting to rollover, and babies who break out of a traditional swaddle. The uniquely-shaped, ½-length sleeves are not full length, so when mitten cuffs are closed, baby’s arms will be flexed close to body for swaddle snugness. The foldover mitten cuffs may be worn open or closed. Caregiver can open one or both cuffs, so baby can self-soothe by sucking directly on hand. Helpful 2-way zipper with 2 zipper pulls. The zipper zips down from the top to make it easy to place baby in the sack and zips up from the bottom to make it easy to change baby’s diaper. Designed by a nurse. US patent, D883,613 with patents in EU, UK, China, Japan, Korea.
100% Cotton
Imported
Little sleeves with big purpose. When mitten cuffs on the 1/2-length sleeves are closed, The sleeves provide partial suppression of the startle reflex, and if baby rolls to tummy, baby can use arms to lift torso and reposition head. Better, safer sleep.
The transitional swaddle Sack is easiest way to transition from swaddling. 3 easy steps: (1) both mitten cuffs closed to keep baby snug, (2) one cuff open to allow baby to self-soothe by sucking on hand, (3) both cuffs open allow baby full use of arms.
Fold over mitten cuffs may be worn open or closed. Parents can open cuffs, so baby can self-soothe, or close cuffs to protect baby from facial scratches. Uniquely-shaped arms up 1/2-length sleeves with mitten cuffs closed keep baby’s arms close to body.
The transitional swaddle Sack is perfect for babies who prefer to sleep with arms up. Swaddle Sack supports baby in a back-sleeping position, allowing for multiple arm and hand positions to help baby sleep better in their natural position.
Innovative 2-way zipper. Premium soft cotton knit. Small 6-14 lbs, 0-3 months; Medium 14-21 lbs, 3-6 months. Us patent D833, 613.

    My baby’s favorite!!!
My son loves these so much he only sleeps well in these sacks. I’ve bought 7 so here is the run down:Solid colors are a different fabric than the white with print. While both are soft, solid color fabric is softer. Both are a medium thickness. Won’t keep them extra warm if the room is cold, if the room is set right the swaddle works perfect.Wash with the zipper closed. One of mine got ruined in the wash due to the zipper (devastating loss, we use these every day). They are AMAZING for long babies! Not too wide or cumbersome. These are not the same as other transitional swaddles. We’ve tried 4 other brands and he hands down prefers this.Lastly, the mintish color, oatmeal darker blue and prints are gorgeous.Just throwing in the mix, the muslin blankets are really nice as well!Overall if you’ve read this far, I absolutely recommend these! I know I need more (SwaddleDesigns if you want to send me one please do!!). My 4 month old loves to scratch his face and swing around and these keep him asleep!!

Perfect Transitional Swaddle for a Great Night’s Sleep!
The SwaddleDesigns Transitional Swaddle Sack with Arms Up Half-Length Sleeves and Mitten Cuffs is a game-changer for my baby’s sleep routine. This swaddle sack has been the perfect solution for transitioning from a traditional swaddle to a sleep sack.Comfort and Design:The half-length sleeves allow my baby to sleep with her arms up, which she prefers, while still providing a cozy, secure feeling. The mitten cuffs are a fantastic addition, keeping her hands warm and preventing scratches.Quality and Material:The quality of the material is outstanding—soft, breathable, and gentle on my baby’s skin. It’s also durable and has held up well through multiple washes, maintaining its shape and softness.Ease of Use:The design is thoughtful and practical, making it easy to put on and take off. The zipper runs smoothly and the swaddle fits perfectly, allowing for quick diaper changes without disturbing my baby.Better Sleep:Since using this swaddle sack, my baby sleeps more soundly and for longer stretches. The transition from traditional swaddling has been seamless, and I can see she feels comfortable and secure.I highly recommend the SwaddleDesigns Transitional Swaddle Sack to any parent looking for a reliable and high-quality sleep solution for their baby. Great swaddles!
These sleep sacks are great and keep my daughter sleeping all night! The arms are not to short and let her self soothe and she has room to kick her feet with out waking her self up. I love th bottom zipper access as well. I’ve bought 4 of them so far!

    comfort and warmth
a great option for babies transitioning out of a full swaddle. The half-length sleeves and mitten cuffs provide comfort and warmth while allowing more movement. It’s soft, easy to use, and helps with sleep, though sizing runs slightly small.

Sleeps just like she’s in a swaddle, but safe for rolling!
Update: changed from five stars to three stars because after a week or two one of the cuffs stopped… “working.” Her arm pokes through every time. Like the cuff just rolls away and she gets her arm through. I know that it is some sort of manufacturing issue because it happens every single time, very quickly, on one side, but doesn’t ever happen on the other side. This has been happening for months. It doesn’t matter how I adjust it, it still happens. I think I am going to try to sew it closed, if I can find time. The cuffs are kind of the whole point of this swaddle sleep sack, so if one doesn’t work, it is just kind of a waste of money. My daughter is 6 months old and is still very reliant on a swaddle to sleep. Without a swaddle, she wakes up as soon as I set her down. She also wakes up every time that she starts to rustle, without a swaddle. She can roll from back to stomach in the swaddle, so I have her swaddled just for naps and watch her like a hawk. At night, I don’t keep her swaddled and she sleeps very poorly. I end up bringing her in bed very early in the night. This thing helps her sleep just like a swaddle, and this amazes me! It is definitely safe for a rolling baby, because when she rolls over she can still get up on her elbows just fine. She stays asleep just fine when I set her down in this, and she is able to get back to sleep after rustling around in her sleep. She still isn’t sleeping through the night, but I definitely did not expect her to. She is a breastfed six month old, so it is very normal for her to wake to nurse at night.Note that it is winter and cold in our house, so she is in thick pajamas underneath this, which helps to keep her arms tight and cozy. In the summer, if she was wearing only this, I am not sure whether or not it would have the same effect.Regarding sizing, I found the sizing to be a little odd. I got her the medium, which says 3-6 months and 14-21 pounds. To me, 14-21 pounds seems more like a 6-9 month range. She is six months old and 18 pounds, which is very high in the percentiles. For clothing, she fits best in 6-9 or 9-12 months and doesn’t fit in a single of her 3-6 month clothes, but I still went with the medium 3-6 month size because she fit in the weight range. It fits just fine! It looks a little funny in the picture because she has a jacket on underneath. With the sizing, go with the weight range rather than age. It is also a bit stretchy so I think it will fit for a while.

    Love these!
I started with the velcro swaddle version and transitioned to these sleep sacks recently. The material is soft, and thicker than most brands like halo, but not too warm for baby either! Great price, pretty colors, double zipper for easy diaper changes, good stretch, and I love the mitten option for little cold hands.

This specific swaddle was just not for my baby.
I’m sure other babies might like this, but I personally felt that my baby did not! I don’t think that the arms were long enough to fit an average babies arms! I did like the rest of it though! I also wasn’t quite sure about the arms being in the upward position! But the fabric quality was good! I’d say my baby wasn’t super comfortable in it! It was lightweight though, and the material was the right thickness!

My 3 month old started rolling onto his tummy recently and unfortunately the Love to Dream swaddles didn’t provide him with enough freedom to push himself up if he rolled over during the night. So I decided to try the swaddle design sleep sack. It was honestly the closest sleep sack to the one we’d been using and my boy was not ready to have his arms completely free. He is all limbs and his startle reflex is strong! The 3/4 length sleeve gives him just enough arm extention so he can move and prop himself up if needed while still stiffling his startle reflex so he doesn’t scare himself awake. I also love that I can open up the mittens in the morning when he snuggles and plays in my bed after he wakes.

As a newborn it fit well but At 3 months this sleepsack’s arms are way too short. They go to his elbow.

This is a good transition sleep sack, I tried the bbluv and love to dream before. My baby’s arms and hands can raise higher shoulder level like others. So far, I can see that he can roll over easily in this sleep sack and stretch out during sleep 😄I ordered this size for my 5 months old, it is a bit loose but he seems ok with that, unless your baby like it tighter, hugging feeling, go with his true sizeFabric is soft, no peeling yet and zipper looks great, well-made sleep sack in general
