A great product 2.5 years and still going
This is an absolutely fantastic product! I donât typically write product reviews but I just got this a week ago and I have already ordered more pouches. My husband and I were spending way too much money on Squeeze pouches and I felt so bad about how many of them are not recyclable. I figured we would give this a shot and itâs awesome! I canât say enough good things. Itâs a little messy at times but the savings is well worth it. The pouches are also easy to clean with a bottle brush. The feel of the plastic is sturdy and good quality, plus the little animal designs are adorable. I used a mini food processor to make my purées and mixed in store bought apple sauce and have had great results. The filling station makes this a breeze, I think without it I would be really frustrated with the process. I really wish I had bought this sooner, so if youâre not sure I would say go for it!Update: about a month into using these and I still like them but the bottom seal gets harder and harder to close over time. Itâs seriously difficult. Had to deduct two stars because of it as it can be a deal breaker.Update: 2.5 years later these things are still going strong. After getting adjusted to closing them with the back of a spoon they have been a life saver. They are still easy to clean and look new! The plastic has not defeated and the designs never fade.

Love this thing
I really like to buy in bulk or make from scratch a lot of the foods he eats and this is just so perfect for that. I am able to fill it with homemade applesauce or bulk yogurt instead of buying the individual cups. Itâs quick and I know itâs in his food! Itâs also really convenient that at a very young age he could start feeding himself from these with very little mess if any. Iâve had a lot of other brands break at the zipper part, but these are still going strong after like a year they do not leak and they seem pretty durable!

Does whatâs intended
I love the idea of reusable, works good. Does leak a little after sealed if product in it is little watery. To clean them is good but at first hard to open the zip lock part. I use a butter knife to help open it.

Squooshi Food Pouch Maker – Convenient & Easy
If you are still buying apple sauce packs from the store because itâs convenient and easy, stop and purchase this! I use to take forever to fill these Apple pouches and absolutely despised it, buying store bought was easier⦠not anymore.Filling all my pouches take only a few minutes now! You can still get different varieties because you can blend whatever you want up and put it in there!Pros : Convenience, quick, easy to clean, and doesnât hold much space in your cupboard, kids love the animals, they hold a good amount of apple sauce.Cons : It can be hard to close the ziplock part which only means they have a really good seal, and you have to work fast when the container is full because the apple sauce will come out the spout so move quick!Overall, this product is a huge win in this house!

Perfect for THICK liquids
Bought this product almost 2 months ago, and today I ran into my first annoyance.I was already using reusable pouches, but wanted something that would reduce the mess. I was filling my pouches with a thick smoothie mixture (yogurt, puree and oatmeal). That worked out great. There wasn’t any leaking and almost no mess.Today, I used it to fill my pouches with a thin smoothie (think Danimals Yogurt Smoothies). You have to be fast. The liquid gushes out as soon as there’s an opening. You have to tilt the filling station back to have any hope of mitigating spillage. It dies come with a cute carrot shaped stopper, but it was less messy to immediately swap pouches.Overall, decent product, but would really benefit from some sort of silicone valve like you see on Mio bottles.Side Note: I do not recommend putting the cup part in the dish washer. It doesn’t have any holes on the bottom sides, so it just pools a bunch of water. It is fairly easy to wash by hand. Especially, if you rinse it out right away. The plunger and pouches have held up well in the dishwasher, but I recommend rinsing the pouches thoroughly before. The pouch caps do okay in the dishwasher, but they’re light and often get flipped over by the jets and hold water.

Works great
Works great! I have used it for apple sauce and yogurt. These are bigger than the normal applesauce or yogurt you can buy prepackaged in pouches. I especially like it because you can get regular applesauce and add crushed up dried strawberries, or cinnamon, or crushed up dried blueberries to it and change the flavor of the applesauce to whatever mixture you like. My son loves these things. They are easy to wash and as long as the ziplock thing on the bottom is sealed properly (which you can tell pretty quick) we havenât had any leaks. Also he has been using them for a while and they are holding up well.

Such a time saver when filling pouches!
So far Iâve used this once, and it was completely worth the money. The pouches are a bit hard to open to clean, but hoping theyâll wear in a little with use. But the pouch filler was worth every penny, made filling pouches so much quicker, easier, less messy and less irritating.
