I made tick kits
My two dogs were coming in the house with 2-3 ticks every time they went out. I used these tools to make a tick kit for just inside the door and next to the couch. These tools make it so much easier to remove ticks than other tools Iâve used.

Great Tick Removers
Ticks are a problem in our area, and pulling them off with tweezers can be a chore (and painful if you don’t do it just right). The plastic ones are perfect for the people, because you usually find them on yourself before they get a chance to gorge themselves. Simply slide the forked end under it, and pry…out it comes. The metal one is perfect for animals. Even though the dog gets treated for ticks and fleas, the ticks only die after they’ve burrowed in and drawn blood. They’re too big for the plastic hooks, so the metal one is the one to use, and it works beautifully in removing those.

So the tweezers and comb are a perfect working effort but the twist tick things really don’t work unless you use them on yourself because on all 3 of my dogs they just didn’t fit on correctly and it was just a mix trying to the so called simple method of using them.

A necessity for any dog owner
My wife and I took our dog on a day hike and after the day trip we noticed a few ticks on our dog. We struggled a bit to safely remove them. Since getting this removal kit we have removed a few more and noticed a significant difference in the ease of removal and comb to notice ticks.

Hard to use on cat
A cats fur is very thick and hard to separate. So it is hard for one person to use these tools.

I thinkComb should be closer together.
But what do i know. And theres 3 shovels I think one bigger more easier to hold, i fpund it was hard to keep tick in the groove i actually bought one from local pet store.

Waste of materials and money
The two plastic forks are fine. But if I ever find a tick on my dog that can be removed with the comb provided, it would have to be the size of a horsefly. It’s huge, and the teeth are broadly spaced. Ridiculous. Other tools provided are likely unusable for this purpose as well.
