Our playard mattress cover features a top layer made with organic cotton; middle layer is quilted with breathable 100% polyester and the back layer is made with organic cotton laminated to waterproof/breathable TPU film to protect mattress from any water spills or bed-wetting. This cover measures 27″ x 39″ x 4″. Machine washed cold with like colors, mild detergent, gentle cycle and use non chlorine bleach when needed.

Poor quality TPU
This wouldâve been a 5 star review if it werenât for the fatal flaw in this mattress cover. The TPU used was very poor quality and melted in the wash. I was my daughters sheets with the rest of her things on warm water. This is by no means water hot enough to do damage to a decent quality TPU. I cloth diaper so Iâm very familiar with the care of this type of fabric. I wash her diapers In super hot water and havenât lost a single one because they were made with quality TPU. I included photos of what happens when these melt. I had to cut out the bottom layer to be able to continue using them so theyâre no longer waterproof but at least arenât scrunched up and completely unusable. I bought 2 in the full crib size, 2 in the mini crib size, and a handful of the small pad size. About half of the pads have melted and this is the second mattress cover to melt after only a year of use. Iâm fed up. For such an expensive mattress, I expect better quality materials to be used so the sheets can be washed in the proper water heat. I donât recommend any of their waterproof products at all unfortunately.
