The only brush/comb my cat will tolerate
My cat has thick, long, double-coated fur. She’s prone to tangles and mats that are very uncomfortable for her, but she also HATES being brushed because the tangles get snagged on whatever brush we use, so she hardly ever lets us manage her fur, which of course leads to more mats and tangles. To try and break this cycle I decided to try this brush and comb set, primarily because I’ve never seen ones that look like this before and I figured it might make a difference.I don’t know what kind of science is in this brush and comb, because not only does it absolutely work, my cat doesn’t hate them! The comb is really nice for getting her fur to all go in the same general direction before going in deeper with the rake brush, which promptly lifted and removed several tangles with seemingly no discomfort for my cat. At one point she was even purring as I brushed her, which NEVER happens. She’s not at the point of loving being brushed yet (she still pushes us away after a while even with this new set) but it’s a lot better than before.

Great for getting trapped fur
My cats LOVE being brushed, but a lot of the brushes I have don’t really get trapped loose fur in their undercoat. I have a small dematting comb that looks like this brush, but that comb only has a few hooks and can only be used in one direction. When I saw this, I was really hoping it would be a large version of that comb. It basically is, but not as “sharp”. It doesn’t break up trapped fur as well as the comb, but it still does an amazing job compared to standard brushes. If I brush them backwards or sideways with this brush it gets so much fur out and they don’t seem to mind because the rake is actually soft on their skin compared to the dematting comb. I’ve brushed all of them with this and they all feel so soft now. If you are looking for a gentle rake this is a great option. If you are looking for a rake to break up matting, I don’t think this will work well. My cats are shorthair, so I don’t need it for dematting. The comb that comes with this set is very large and not really good for cats, but I do use it to gather loose fur off their coats after I brush them. The comb is probably better for dogs.

Dog deshedding comb
This deshedding comb is interesting, I have used the furminator before and that did an awesome job. This one has much wider spacing between the bristles. It also has hooks at the end to grab and pull the hair out. My dog is shedding right now so I canât say how it works, but I am confident that it will at least help with the shedding.

So much more convenient
This brush works really well. I use it on my big, floofy cat. His fur, when I donât brush for a week, is flying eveeeerywhere. Like you can see his fur in the air. It is soooo messy and not fun. This brush really gets that fur out of the way and takes out any loose fur on him that is not found by regular brushes. Iâm having to do less strokes through his fur because this brush gets it done the initial run throughs. Very nice, efficient. Less time consuming and just easier.

Amazing Deshedder
This item was received for free, however, this review is 100% honest and unbiased.This deshedder works wonders for removing all the loose fur from my German Shepherd while still being gentle enough to avoid tangling. The claws are long enough to effectively handle his thick coat. Plus, the additional comb is a great touch for smoothing things out after I’ve tackled the loose fur.

Works Great!
I go through these like mad with a German Shepherd and a Husky mix, and this is definitely a quality set. The comb works way better than I expected it to, and it great for getting out tangles before using the undercoat rake. The rake works perfectly and I did not have any issues with it snagging or getting caught at all. Our dogs are a serious task to brush, and this did it with ease!

Solid Metal Pet Brush
This pet brush is made of solid metal, not cheap plastic, which is a big plus.The handle is also made up of premium plastic. It’s sturdy and feels like it will last. The double-sided design is helpful for different fur types. I found it effective at removing mats and undercoat. However, be gentle since it might be rough for your pet if you pull the brush through their tangled hair. If your pet hair are tangled very heavily, then you don’t want to just directly brush. You need to first shampoo them and then use the brush otherwise pulling the knots using brush will be very painful. Overall, it’s a decent brush for the price.

Very Nice!
Pros:Comfortable gripsGreat hair removalEffective combCons:NoneThe grips on both the comb and the rake make the experience so much more pleasant and significantly decrease the chance of them slipping out of your hand. When it comes to effectiveness I was able to remove quite a bit of hair off my cat with the rake and the comb did a nice job straightening my catâs fur without causing any sort of pain (he was actually purring while I was using it on him). I could not find a fault with this kit.
