    Great toy, dogs love it!
It is a good price and very sturdy and durable. It only took a few minutes for both of my dogs to solve, but they loved it! I like that there is multiple puzzles and components to solve. Dog approved!

Challenged my dog, but kibble gets stuck in the sides
My dog was actually challenged by this puzzle, which means lots of good brain work and training time! My only problem with it is that smaller kibble gets stuck in the runners where the dark blue pieces slide. That means it’s hard to clean and my dog sometimes spends more time trying to get stuck pieces out (almost impossible unless you’re using something small to pry them out) than actually working on the puzzle.

My two cats love this one!
I chose this small dog toy to hide treats for my two smarty-pants cats. They’re under a year old and always looking around for something to play with (or break). Before I got this one, I bought these two:#1 Returned:Catit Senses 2.0 Digger Interactive Cat ToyOk, unless you have a super dense cat, this toy was a total failure. My cat stuck is paw in the cup 2x and brought up nothing. So, he stuck his jaw around the cup, lifted it straight up and out. Batted the cup, it spun and released the snack. He then lifted all the cups up and out, and ate it all. 2 minutes after first seeing the toy, he’d beaten it. Plus, it’s junk. Got returned.#2. Wow:Nina Ottosson by Petstages Buggin’ Out Puzzle & Play – Interactive Cat Treat Puzzle(Green, red black, lady bug looking.) This puzzle taught me that interactive toys can be great for my kitties. Nina Ottosson rates them by difficulty, it was a #2. After 3 days, I realized that my cats are smart and could use something even more difficult. So, I went to find a level 3 from her. However, they aren’t cheap. Now THIS Review for THIS Toy: So, I looked around and found THIS Trixie Dog Activity for a lot less money than the Nina toys. Other reviewers stated that their cats liked it. This stumps my cats just enough that they work it for awhile, get a few snacks and then leave it alone. Later, they go back to it and try again. Usually within 24 hours, they’ve retrieved most of the snacks. (And removed all the parts from the toys….now we need to work on “picking up” our toys!)

TOO EASY & NOT DESIGNED WELL
My dog figured it all out in @15 minutes 1st time. After that he went through it in @3 mins. The cut out for sliding handle isn’t placed properly, so that a dog can get the drawer out with his nose or nails in the extra space the over sized/wrongly placed slot has. Used electrical tape to cover up the back part of it to prevent that. Also the drawer does not come out all the way (to access the 2nd treat well) by using the handle as I believe it was intended. In addition, when drawer is fully in, part of the 2nd treat well is exposed from the slot gap. The knots on the other drawer hung down on the underside causing the drawer to not close properly. Had to cut the tails off the knots & tape in place. And, as with all of the Trixie puzzle toys, there are never enough cups to cover all the treat wells. To fully utilize the puzzle, there should be 8, not 2. I found that I could take plastic water/soda bottle tops & cosmetic tops (I drilled holes into their tops) to completely fill the whole puzzle. I also used a pen cap to insert in the gap between the sliding handle & slot (so dog has to remove 1st before can use slide handle). With these additions it has been made as hard as possible (see photo). My dogs time is now @4 mins, which means it is still too easy! Based on Trixie’s levels, he’d need at least a 6 or 7 to give his mind a bit of a challenge. Unfortunately Trixie doesn’t make anything higher than a Level 3 game even though they say you can make them Level 4 by using the cups in between the sliders. Obviously, we did that when we added our extra ‘cups’ & I don’t think it ups the level at all. The only other game they have which could be slightly harder is the Move 2 Win, but that’s only a larger version of this game with extra drawers & more ways to move the slider handle. It’s also @$30 which I think is way to much for what it is! This Mini Mover did stick to the floor fairly well, but you definitely have to supervise your pet while using, otherwise they could chew up the parts, but these games are designed to be a bonding experience as well as tease a pet’s mind. They are not meant to be games you just set up & walk away from. If that’s what you want, get a Pet Zone 3″ IQ Snack ball! This toy is sized right for small dogs & would be fun for dogs that aren’t super smart. My Mother’s hyper active terrier would definitely take at least 1/2hr or more to figure it out & that would be with constant prompting. My dog, shown in photo is a 12 lb Chi-Mix. We also own the Dogit Mind Games 3 in 1, which is much better priced, but was also way too easy for my dog. Like all these toys it doesn’t come w/enough cups. I added more caps from various products (& again drilled holes in top) but still too easy for my dog. He can go through each of the 3 set ups in @30-45 seconds. Mom’s dog took 20 minutes with constant examples before finally getting. He’s only played it once, so I’m sure he’d get better w/repetition. We also have the Outward Hound Paw Mini, which is perfectly sized for little dogs. This at least, does come with the full amount of cups. It’s a simple remove the cup game, but they mostly have to use their mouths to do it. The only game my dog had difficulty with was the large size version of this game & that’s only because he couldn’t fit his mouth around the cups. We use the cups from the Paw Mini to play a dog version of the “shell” game, which is fun, but he guesses right 1st try @90% of the time. In summary, I haven’t been able to find a game that will actually challenge my dog’s intellect (I was told by a professional trainer my dog is exceptionally smart). For average dogs it’d probably work better. Hope this review helps!

Solid 15+ Min. of Good Stimulation
My dog loves puzzle games—I’ve only gotten her Difficulty-Level-3 puzzles, and most she solves within 5 minutes. This one has very-to-moderately easy parts, that get her excited and keep her motivated, and then a couple last steps that seem to challenge her longer than any other puzzle, so far. I’m very please with this purchase! These are great to keep your dog stimulated, mentally-engaged, and motivated. I’ve noticed her anxiety decreased and her energy leveled-out (not hyper, but not bored and lethargic either). They have held up against her aggressive clawing/pawing, pummeling and chewing to get at the treats, and now she’s finally realizing, “work smarter not harder” after a few unsuccessful attempts with brute strength. Will be purchasing more from this brand!
