It doesn’t really work to get fleas off my dog. Just a comb that gets some fur off

Produkt funkcjonalny, dobrze wyprofilowana rączka. Jedynie zęby tego grzebienia mogłyby być mocniejsze. Przy wyczesywaniu nieco skołtunionej sierści potrafią się wygiąć.

Wir haben 2 ganz normale Kurzhaar-Katzen. Die eine Katze liebt diesen Kamm und schnurrt jedes mal vor Freude, wenn ich sie damit kämme. Der andere Kater mag nicht immer gekämmt werden, aber wenn er es mal zulässt mag er es eigentlich auch. Man muss ein bisschen vorsichtig sein, weil der kam recht fein ist und wenn man zu schnell kämmt oder das Fell zu zottelig ist bleibt der Kam hängen und die Katze guckt ein böse an.Seine Funktion erledigt der Kamm sehr gut. Man kann sehr schnell und sehr viele Flöhe damit aufspüren. Manchmal reicht schon 1-2 mal zu kämmen und der Kamm sitzt zu mit Flöhen. Auf meinen Foto sieht man auch sehr gut, wie der Kamm ein Zecke eingefangen hat (bevor diese zugebissen hat).Die Ergonomie und die Haltbarkeit sind hervorragend, die Pinne verbiegen sich nicht und der Kamm liegt gut in der Hand.Klar ist es nicht das richtige Mittel um die Katze komplett von Flöhen zu befreien, aber das ist ja auch nicht die Aufgabe. Denn wenn man erkennt, dass die Katze Flöhe hat, kann man ein wirksameres Mittel dagegen kaufen. Naja und man will den Katzen ja auch mal was gutes tun. Ich versuche immer so viele Flöhe wie möglich mit dem Kamm herauszuholen und zu töten, aber wirksam ist auf Dauer nur ein Anti-Flohmittel.

I received this comb 24 hours after ordering! My dog doesn’t have fleas (yet) but I wanted a strong, comfortable, comb to keep it that way. My dog Harley is a Golden Mountain (Golden Retriever X Bernese) and has three distinct types of fur, thick, silky and curly on his back, long and silky on his chest and thick and fluffy ‘feathers’, ears and tail, quite a combination! I didn’t think I’d get a comb to cope with all three, but this does the job. It’s very sturdy and I’m sure will last a long time. I’m delighted with it and can find no negatives. More importantly, he loves it!Update: It’s so good I’m just about to order another to keep in the car as I keep forgetting to take it with me when we go to the woods. It’s perfect for removing the myriad tiny ‘sweethearts’ and other junk he collects en route before getting back in the car. 10/10!
