Exactly what I was looking for
This seems sturdy and perfect. The only true test is seeing how it holds up in an accident, which I hope to never have of course. I do test everything I purchase like this by putting my dog in front seat of my jeep, strapping him in and with my arm out and not going TOO fast, slamming on the brakes. He has three different tethers, actually used for lifting and rock climbing attached to different points in the jeep, headrests, rollbar, back seat LATCH points, and the seatbelt itself. Seatbelt goes through his crash tested harness but I bought this as another “insurance” thing so if a tether fails in an accident or his crash tested harness attachment point fails, he has another anchor holding him securely in place. This seems to be the only item of its kind like this, and is exactly what I wanted. I just hope I never have to find out the integrity of its strength.

Love it!!
Got this for my dog who likes to climb on laps when driving. Itâs for his safety and mine. I love that I am able to use it when he is sitting on my lap or when heâs sitting alone. I am able to use it in different cars. This really makes me feel better on knowing my dog is safe during car rides. Itâs very easy to set up and the quality is sturdy. My dog seems to love it because he doesnât mind it.

Great safety item
This was so simple to use and hooked right to my fur baby’s harness. I feel so much better with her in the car attached with this safety buckle. She even seems to feel more secure and waits for me to hook it up.GREAT FIND!!!

Great for dogs that go back and forth between standing and sitting.
This product is fantastic. I haven’t been in an auto accident yet to verify its sturdiness, but it has been wonderful on both of the rides we have taken. I have a 135 lb Rottweiler and I have tried multiple different solutions for harnessing him in my truck. This provides him the most freedom to either stand up or lay down. I also feel that this will provide decent stopping power when vehicle slows down and the seat belt locks. I am honestly impressed with this product. I also like the way the latch interlocks as it would be difficult for my dog to get loose from it on his own or due to movement of the harness in the latch itself. I am not 100% sure how long the spring will last, but for now it does the job.

Most secure dog safety device
I’ve tried many harnesses to secure my dog in the backseat but this is the best I have ever used! All the other tethers I have tried my dogs have gotten their legs twisted up in unless they are so short that they can’t move around at all. This allows them to sit up and move enough to be comfortable but holds them back when you break the car just as it would a human being. Can’t say enough about this device. In my opinion it is the safest one on the market.

Thanks to the other users who shared reviews for this product as it helped me with my purchase. We have the TrueLove harness for our German Shepherd puppy. The seatbelt lock works well with the harness. It gives her enough room to stand up and stretch or lay comfortably. Highly recommend the product for ease of use and quality of construction. I have not had to stop suddenly yet but can see how the seat belt strap would keep her secured. See photos.

Heavy duty, gets the job done
Works very well. Easy to use, hold my little chi securely . It may be a little heavy for a small dog- they could use two sizes. My only suggestion.

I bought this for my puppy in order to keep her safe and thought it would be easier to use than putting a harness on her every time I take her for a ride in a vehicle. I tried using it once and will never use it again. I believe that it is a dangerous design. It came off the belt even though I had installed it properly. My puppy was also able to turn around in the seat with it on and I believe that she could have easily ended up with a broken leg as the seatbelt didn’t lock when she moved and pulled on it. I had to untangle the seatbelt from her legs. I will be ordering a harness that the metal tongue pushes into the seatbelt lock in the near future. The only thing that I can say is good about this product is that it is built sturdy and durable.
